technically a skill issue cause you can do teh raid
To make sure to understand what I am reading:
Followed all the questlines to the end where it says in Gazlowe’s text box: Liberation of Undermine raid can be done in story mode.
So… Blizzard time gated this “story mode” raid to wait another week it get it done so I don’t waste at least a couple of hours doing the questlines for a skip for my army of alts?

yep, then again all your alts can teleport to undermine anyway from portal and can do everything digs rares etc etc etc, but ya lets give people a quest they cant do bc we dont want them to get done sooner then we want them to we need them to play how we want them to play

After some digging I found that even raid finder is gated by section for the next couple of weeks.
I know I sound naive, I am a casual who plays for fun, but what reasoning for this can it be?
Can’t be for gearing. I am not a raider by any means, if I get really bored I might sign up for LFR or maybe do group dungeoneering, but this expansion has been great for people who solo play. It’s just running the same questline over and over again to get a different character through gives me PTSD flashbacks of older days of wow.

The reason they will use is that they don’t want the no-lifers doing everything opening week and complaining “there’s no content I have nothing to do”.
Most likely it will appear when the last wing opens

to do the quest next week story mode unlocks next week so u can kill the final boss then and get the quest done and start the rep, i get time gating stuff, but time gating this and the rep is dumb, should of released Story mode this week along with first wing of LFR

Three weeks in total, yes. Gallywix won’t be available until March 25th for LFR players as he is his own Wing.

shocking i got into a pug and got it done… so next 2 days none stop digging 24/7
they time game everything my sub is up before then tho and Im not rupping see you next expansion this is it for me

Huh?
Just because timegating is what they’ve always done, doesn’t mean it’s a good thing. In this case, there’s no reason to not release the storymode with the end of the campaign. No reason for it to wait. It doesn’t affect RWF or progression or anything.

Agreed. Timegating the story (the msq) serves no purpose that I can determine. I just wanted to finish the campaign this week (a few days ago, actually). Since I am not a raider, I can’t.

Interesting. Can you explain how you completed content that isn’t even supposed to be available/unlocked yet? Or are you referring to something else?
