Looks like my time with WoW has come to an end. Blizz has created such an unstable WoW client that I’m getting Access Violation errors now. That I never got before.
Tired of them breaking their own client constantly and I think it’s time for me to move on. I’ll stay subscribed until I can find another game to move to.
My brother was having same issues the other day with the new patch apparently in his case it had to do with something with Discord. He was able to fix it… after a while but almost could not join our guys WoW Hardcore Classic Night. (Please don’t ask, I was force into playing it by my friends as a bet one day a week. lol).
There are a lot of players having issue with this Patch… feels like there more going on with this Patch in the background. Hopefully we get fix soon.
I have a sneaking suspicion others will be joining you in departure, probably around the time of Gamescom and totally coincidental.

Weapons slapped. Not the slam dunk people are making it out to be but I love [Halloween Monster Type] and I’m glad we got a good movie about them. If we only had a solid werewolf movie in the lineup 2025 would be a monster mash grand slam.
As it stands though vampires, zombies, witches and a Frankenstein are accounted for so still a banner year for horror.
For a moment I was like… what weapons? From the trading post? The chess theme was kinda cool, I agree.
Then I was like… Oh …. I think I saw a commercial about a movie with that name somewhere.

I did play the quest chains and got up to the current step… I’m not feeling it much.
Xal is, as one would expect, charismatic as heck. The others… they feel like second line benchwarmers while she’s off playing everything expertly… it’s honestly rather nice to see someone actually being shown to play the game, instead of just doing an appeal to heroics bs. Kind of reminds me of some older team up style stories where the villain had to step up because the hero wasn’t ready to make the calls.
Also, can see her playing everything to create victory for herself and a nightmare for the rest of us. Oh well still probably going to have her as an enemy but at least she’s proving to be an interesting one unlike our allies who just… don’t.
Phase diving is not something I’m enjoying. It bugs my brain when we shift and I actually experience relief when I can exit the mode, like a pressure has been taken away.
I’ve been playing in the The Burning Crusade relearning old lore and noticing things I don’t think people remember… like the fact that the Naaru often used purity culture language not only to justify killing something/someone, but also to justify if someone was good or not… might just be me, but that doesn’t sound benevolent.
Going to play Fallout 76, Diablo 4 and Fallout 4 is heavily modded, so that’s fun to play
I’m just bored and WoW doesn’t keep me interested anymore. I barely do anything when I am in game
Sept 3rd is my final day that my subscription ends. Just want my peeps to know that I adore and love ya guys. Thanks for all the fond memories

Just to inform you but a lot of people retain access to the forums after their sub ends so you might be able to hang out still.
Meeting you and Alynsa was what ultimately let me meet all of the rest of my friends. You’ll always have a special place in my heart. Just wish I’d been able to better return the love these last months.
I only just got back to playing a teenie bit so far, and jumped right to K’aresh.
Alleria is a charisma vacuum. Ethereal Guy (I know his name, but he doesn’t deserve a name) is not better. Both of them feel so flat that it convinces me Azeroth is a flat earth, surrounded by an ice wall, and the Arathi are lying about where they came from because they are lizzid people aliens trying to take over. Everything from them feels like complete technical exposition the likes of which you’d expect to see in a bad Star Trek episode.
At least K’aresh is super-pretty-weird and I love looking at it.
Karebear, you better know you will always be big in my heart. Through the last… Oh my gosh, has it been almost ten years??? It was Legion-ish, maybe late WoD. I dunno, it’s been super-long. But you have been a big major part of why I stuck around on Story Forums. You have been infinitely supportive, infinitely compassionate, and someone I often think about even when I do not think about WoW.
You and Nightsong mean soo much to me. You both are the main reason I stuck around here for as long as I did. I’m going to miss both of you so much. Thanks for all the laughs and good times hun
So tomorrow we get the final raid cinematic. I got to say not that much actually happened in TWW so far. Felt rather not important with all those minor things going on. Hopefully by the time we arrive at Last Titan things get clear how the story unfolds for the next 10 or so years.

I’ve really enjoyed the rest of TWW, but I have to admit. I’m not really feeling this patch.
Maybe it’s because Undermine was TOOOOOOO good.
Maybe it’s because Blizzard left out battlepets, giving me flashbacks to archaeology getting soft removed – pets and digs aren’t exactly vital, but they are a fun way to waste time in queue.
Maybe I’m just tired of the massive amounts of smarm the brokers like to deploy.
I was going through my closet and found an old dvd collection of Yu Yu Hakusho. It’s been fun rewatching it.
