Oh no, while we do get very generous paid sick time benefits (and other benefits really), it’s traded off by our very small paychecks. I work at a homeless shelter, so our bosses understand that having a very good benefits package is a must; when a new flu variant comes in, when some new viral contagion hits the area, we always get hit.
It is why I’m such a tough Mocha Elf!! That which does not kill me makes me stronger, and many things have tried to kill me!!

Yay, almost eight hours…
Sorry to make you worry. As bad as these last few days have been they are nothing compared to how bad It was just eight months ago. Thankfully I found a good therapist who recognized what I was dealing with and is helping me through it. The fact we are even talking is proof of that.
Just eight months ago I wouldn’t have been able to open up and be this social.
Yes walks are good, they help. Especially if your walks take you through places with green space, that’s been proven to help with mood.
