I was hoping for the dark purple, almost black, skin color because it would have matched the fan art I found of what represents my Drae. But the red skin works really well with purple hair and black eyes :smile_cat:

I am thinking Krokul will get added as an allied race, given their general structure is markedly different from your bog standard Draenei.

I am sorta hoping that they give the druid of the flame skin to us as well. They did some hd updates to it and it looks pretty awesome.

Anyone who read about or watched the latest episode of Ahsoka must be surprised on what the Chosen One Prophecy actually means:

Anakin by acting to destroy the Sith learned that he is more than just Light and Dark and thus brought the Ultimate Balance to the Force upon becoming a Force Ghost.

The Father of Mortis merely restrained the Light and Darkness in his Realm and did not have Balance within himself at the most existing in the Middle like the Bendu.

The Sith came back yet the Ultimate Balance once achieved never went away.

To those stating that the Dark Side is unnatural: The Sith are the cancer in the Force not the Dark Side. Fear is of the Dark Side and every Jedi has Fear of the Dark Side which prevents them from being Balanced.

Sith see the Light as something separate from themselves to extinguish which prevents them from being Balanced as well causing a cancer in the Force.

Anakin being the Ultimate Balance brought to the Force is able to control which side he is on at any moment.

Incidentally not only is the Son of Mortis an Embodiment of the Dark Side according to the Aftermath Novel there is another Embodiment of the Dark Side within the Unknown Regions that called out to Sidious yet ignored Anakin as it knew he was destined to become the Ultimate Balance in the Force upon destroying the Sith.

Yes. All of this.

Anakin is the Father of Mortis now with his balance children, Ahsoka and Statkiller.

And Ahsoka the white, she got Gandalfed.

Live action TCW was everything. This episode was everything.

I hope so. Krokul Broken Draenei I was more interested in. Atleast in terms of design and everything about them.

Is anyone doing the Secrets of Azeroth event?

Iā€™m on the last one and I am having a ROUGH time because itā€™s just so buggy. I canā€™t seem to locate the pieces for the Titan Block Key or the Titan Energy cube and my buff dropped off making all of the Tyrhold mobs hostile again. (Ā¬_Ā¬)

Going to try it again after work, Iā€™m hoping I can at least regain the buff to make it a bit less frustrating. I NEED that alpaca mount!

Anyway.

Woo, tried again on my lunch and managed to complete it despite all the mobs in Tyrhold being hostile.

Looking at Battler, Jessica and Sayo as Sakutaro the Umineko, Ciconia and Higurashi Storyline makes sense and gives us a sense of why Bernkastel blames Natsuhi for the Murders and only seems to blame Kyrie for Lion Ushiromiyaā€™s Murder because she canā€™t blame Natsuhi for the Rokkenjima Massacre due to obvious reasons.

Yes I suspect that the Battler that disappeared from Sayoā€™s life and Jessica Ushiromiya are one and the same.

I strongly suspect that mysterious girl Une is Satoshi I.E. Lion just as Miyao and his little sister Meow are actually the same Girl trying to make her parents happy.

K1 therefore is an improved Une(1) as she is better able to maintain the masculine gender of her host especially with Rikaā€™s Loops.

Furthermore I strongly suspect that Juuza Amakusa is Lion/Battler meaning that Eva killed Satoshi and since Hanyuuā€™s presence causes the Hinamizawa Syndrome that meansā€¦

S1 is inferior to K1 in otherwords and gets outed before K1 by Hanyuu.

I strongly suspect Inori Mikazuki in Higurashi Reiwa is an I1 and panicked at the sight of the unthinkable K2 as that can be forced to become a dreaded 3 or 4 or even 34 courtesy of Natsuhi if not outed soon enough.

The fact that the Hinamizawa Syndrome is present means that Eva is present and since Eva shares a voice with Takano and considering a Hanyuu is Higurashiā€™s Game Master according to the Umineko Manga while 07Ryukishi claims that Lambdadelta is Higurashiā€™s Game Master it seems as if Sakiko and someone else is Eva this time around.

Meguri and Reiwa is about exposing Eva thus ā€œkillingā€ her while also protecting K1/Battler from her and establishing Satoshi 5 right after ā€œkillingā€ a Sayo instance(I.E. Shion).

The Evas of Meguri possessing Satoko and Rika are of great interest as I am positive that the one possessing Rika is the one who traveled through the Loops with her while the one she has been meeting in the Sea of Fragments is Lambdadelta in her role as Game Master.

Playing a Draenei never interested me much, but playing a Manari Eredar among the Draenei does. A little but of lore and some different colors can make a big difference as far as enjoying a Character.

I want to board the hype train, but I am not even sure which class I want to make - not sure what would fit in my roster. My Alliance side is pretty bare bones, so thatā€™s good.

A Paladin would be great except when I have time to play a Paladin, I want to play my Blood Elf. When I have time to play a Hunter, I want to play a Vulpera. I have enough Rogues all over the place of various races, wouldnā€™t really play another if I had it.

I have a Human Mage that I rarely use. Might make him a Manari. Maybe that will get me to play him more.

I do have an Alliance side Warlockā€¦ he is a Void Elf. I like that he is a mirror of this Horde Warlockā€¦ both being Elves. But a Warlock would fit with the new Draenei customizationsā€¦ might swap him.

I have been meaning to use my DK moreā€¦ but I hear you donā€™t get the full access to eye colors. That seems like a draw back, if I am trying to indulge my Manari lifestyle.

I want to make up my mind while there is a sale going on lol.

I am legit confused how a Manā€™arai DK would even work as demons cannot become undead to begin with.

I suggest Warlock for obvious reasons, or perhaps a shadow priest. You could frame it as a scholar of the Void. Another option might be a rogue.

This sounds best IMO

I personally went with Warlock 'cause itā€™s the most fitting, albeit the most clichĆ©. (I also havenā€™t really played much of Warlock, despite leveling one for the DI heritage ā€“ it feels like a weird blur.)

I think of your choices, Mage or Warlock have the most potential.

Iā€™ll be honest, I was extremely excited for Manā€™ari when they were announced but the way they were implemented kindā€™ve took the wind out of my sails. Not because they are full Manā€™ari (I think it was cool and unexpected that Blizzard went there) but because it felt like it was missing a lot of crucial follow-up that messes with my immersion for some reason.

That and they didnā€™t implement a purple/black skin tone. Was really hoping for a Manā€™ari Voidcaller/Inquisitrix situation.

Yeah the whole concept of a DK Manari seems like something to sit down and consider if you want it to make sense, lore wiseā€¦ but I am not a serious RPer. I am a practical casual.

I ultimately went with my Death Knight. My DK is one of my older Alliance Alts. One of my Alts that has Garona in his WoD Garrison table. I have been wanting to level him, because I need a dedicated tank and a plate mog collector. But I just havenā€™t had the motivation.

My DK is usually Blood, and plate looks awesome on a red Draenei. I did a dungeon last night. It makes the idea of leveling and gearing him more fun.

Iā€™m gonna say it. Hearthstone lore is so much better than WoW lore.

Did you see the new expansion outright claiming the Titans created the Old Gods by 3D printing them like in Uldir?

Why canā€™t we explore that canon.

People already lost their minds when the Eternals turned out to have 3D printed bodies. Can you imagine the chaos of them deciding old gods were 3D printed as well?

I thought thatā€™s exactly what Uldir implied with itā€™s Zekā€™Vos fight where you summon 3D printed holograms of the Old Gods and itā€™s implied that someone damaged the archive they had on all the information the Titans collected on the Old Gods. One of the archives was crumbled on the ground.

BFA had a lot of interesting lore in Uldir but they never did anything with it. Neltharion said that Azeroth was just a failed Titan Experiment and and then with Uldir confirming they were using corrupted blood to create their own Old God, Gā€™huun. Itā€™s the most interesting lore that WoW has added to date.

I was not one f those people upset about Shadowlands lore because I understand the metaphysics behind it, sacred geometry. I tried to explain it but no one wanted to listen at the time. Everything in the universe starts out as 3D printed hologram, itā€™s physics, the idea of a simulated universe, ie, matrix theory, is not new concept.

*Ultimately, sacred geometry represents how the Universe is a created structure and the underlying pattern that is reflected within that creation. Perhaps one of the best examples of this idea is the fractal. The fractal is a geometric shape where each part or aspect is reflected in scale with the whole of that object.

I speculated that Old Gods are mortal reflections of Oracles.

Everything about the Shadowlandsā€“everything!ā€“is part of the pattern. A closed system in which nothing is lost. Even that which is seemingly destroyed is merely being reshaped for a new purpose.

The Fractals, it seems like truth is coming from a source, that truth is refracted down to the Oracles and that truth filters down to reality and is expressed through the Void, through whispers of the Old Gods.

Long have I scoffed at what I learned of titans, or the void lords, or demons of the Nether. I held Deathā€™s pantheon in higher regard, but now I know that they are just as limited. Truth lies not in one direction or another, but in their intersection.
The First Ones had parceled out their gifts, but gave no child all of them. No wonder these offspring bickered with such incessant jealousy. Their very nature was one of denial." - Firim in Exile Part 6

Shadowlands was actually really profound, but it was way too smart for its player base. The fact that some people hyper focus on the idea that the universe is ā€œ3D printedā€ really donā€™t understand how matter works. We are multidimensional beings trapped in matter, in the third dimension. WoW is just a microcosm, a 2D impression of our Universe. Itā€™s intelligent creators are breaking the 4th wall as game devs.

Even the fact that the Progenitors language was music has relevance within metaphysics.

I know Wikipedia is not an academic source, I am not writing a paper, Iā€™m just giving people who are curious a tertiary source for better understanding. Platonism is the overarching philosophical school of thought, and thatā€™s why Shadowlands was Hellenistic in itā€™s motifs and themes.

So ends the theory of Sanguinius killing Horus and succumbing to the Black Rage.

Of course there are some readers theorizing that the Emperor revives Sanguinius who kills Horus in the rematch and then succumbs to the Black Rage butā€¦

Itā€™s much easier to imagine that Sanguinius is revived after the Emperor kills Horus then succumbs to the Black Rage and fatally injures the Emperor before being put out of his misery.

The Black Rage is the Blood Angels reliving Sanguiniusā€™s final battle against Horus so Sanguinius succumbing upon resurrection is understandable.

Of course the Black Rage being called the Black Rage combined with Abaddon calling Horus a fool might mean that Horusā€™s own power was used in the resurrection Spell which means all it will take to bring back Horus would be Lion demanding that Horus face him himself instead of using Sanguinius to fight him for him.

Itā€™s starting to seem as if Horus will be Lionā€™s second great challenge now that he has beaten Angron. As for how Lion will discover Horus: Abaddon will probably reveal what happened to Horus so that when the Black Rage happens Lion will call Horus a coward demanding he face him himself instead of using Sanguinius to do his fighting for him.

Horus is the next Chaos Primarch showing up.

Saezurah outright states that ā€œTheir song flows through me.ā€

The Void received the Song of the First Ones.

The times when the Void Corrupted are all ā€œI only sleepā€ it is infact the First Ones sending out a message to the Mortals.

The 7th Covets what the other 6 hold fast. The 6 will be forced awake one way or another. The Black Goat with 7 Eyes is getting hungrier. Bolder. According to the Barrowknoll Cemetery Whispers a certain she seeks that which will only attained through sacrifice.

One of the 6 First Ones must be eaten.

After the last couple expacs having some of the most butt-ugly raid sets (for mail anyway), Iā€™m super impressed with the tier designs coming out of Dragonflight!

The Shaman sets (both raid and zone sets) look SO awesome for 10.2! Despite the DF story feeling a bit lackluster for me, itā€™s been awesome for transmog hunters!

Mail is notoriously neglected, especially when Cloth, Leather, and Plate have iconic and awesome pieces.

Itā€™s almost like Blizzard acknowledged as much by making the new race/class combo wear mail, but only show a few pieces.
