Bad for feral good for balance.

I am hopefully optimistic that player feedback has made them realize the error of their ways. But this is Blizzard, and Iā€™m not holding my breath.

After all the complaints about the lack of Tzeentch we are finally getting a Tzeentch-aligned Warhammer 40K Game.

The Era of Nurgle seems to be ending just as the Era of Khorne ended so now we are getting Tzeentch.

Fun Fact: The Thousand Sonsā€™ New Kingdom, the Aeldari Craftworlds and the Tau Empire are all stable reasonable societies and 2 of which(Thousand Sons and Tau Empire) have a desire to overthrow the Imperium(Thousand Sons due to a personal grudge and Tau for the sake of conquest) while the other(Aeldari Craftworlds) seeks to use it as a shield against itā€™s other enemies.

The dogmatic unreasonable Imperium clearly isnā€™t doing itself any favors.

Iā€™m sure the Tau would gladly ally with the Thousand Sons and merge. Magnus surely would have no problems being a vassal of the Tau Empire as they would accept his sort of Kingdom within their borders and would like to bring down the Imperium as well.

Since the Tau have no objection to the Kroot eating enemy troops surely they would have no objection to the Iron Warriors growing genetically engineered creations with heavy amounts of Skin to harvest to cover their skinless newly created Space Marines.

The Word Bearers seek to worship Gods so the Tau can easily offer them Tauā€™va, Vashtorr, Lorgar himself, Magnus and Perturabo while denying them Khorne, Slaanesh and Nurgle. Those who seek Gods incapable of aiding the Greater Good would be unworthy of joining the Tau Empire.

The Iron Warriors, the Word Bearers, the Thousand Sons and the Night Lords are all likely to be welcome in the Tau Empire and the Tau likely would be able to offer them everything they want(the role of building things for the Iron Warriors, religions to prop up for the Word Bearers, enemies to sow fear in for the Night Lords and revenge against the Imperium while providing a place for Psykers and Sorcerers for the Thousand Sons).

The Tau of course will learn to avoid the Alpha Legion(because they are backstabbers), Lords of Change(also backstabbers), Changeling(a backstabber), followers of Khorne(bloodthirsty to the point of backstabbery), followers of Slaanesh(such Hedonism is an abomination against the Greater Good), followers of Nurgle(too disease-ridden), Orks(Warmongers), Dark Eldar(will experiment on everyone), Imperium(Xenophobic), Black Legion(too ambitious) and Tyranids(too mindless).

Imagine the Tau Empire ruling over the Tau Ethereals, Tau Earth/Water/Fire/Air Castes, Humans saved from the Imperium, the Thousand Sons, the Word Bearers, the Iron Warriors, the Dark Mechanicum, the Night Lords, the Necrons, the Leagues of Votann and a few Aeldari Craftworlds leading them all against the Imperium, the Orks, the Tyranids, the Dark Eldar, unshackled Lords of Change, Black Legion, the World Eaters, the Emperorā€™s Children and the Death Guard!

The Tau Empire is a beacon of hope in the Galaxy capable of uniting any Faction thatā€™s not an enemy to the Greater Good.

This weeks episode of Ahsoka pulled an Anakin stunt right out of The Clone Wars. Whatā€™s with the short episodes though? Did they blow all thier budget?

Itā€™s common for episodes to be about 40 mins or so after the first two episodes release. But yeah, they sure did pull an anakin.

Iā€™m also a big fan of the theory that Marrok is Galen Malek, aka Starkilker from the Force Unleashed games

Anakins padawan vs Vaderā€™s padawan would be a good match up. Someone did see Sam Whitwerā€™s name in the Ahsoka credits so itā€™s a plausible theory.

I hear SAG-AFTRA wants to fold Video Game artists into the strike.

I am generally OK with workers trying to get what they can. Call me an old fashioned Commie, but I have felt that the owners of capital would use child labor for pennies and relegate us to serfdom if they are allowed to. The past 1000 years - and even further back - are testament to this. The workers have to unite just to earn a living while working for the owners of capital.

I love The Nanny so I hope Fran is successful.

Thankfully I am not much into movies or Tv series, so the Actors strike hasnā€™t effected me. The Writers Strike effected me because I enjoy watching Real Time with Bill Maher and Late Night with Steven Colbert - no new shows during the Writers Strike. But I have just listened to more Howard Stern or NPR to fill the gap.

I wonder if Video Game Artists are going to jump in. Apparently they have been working on an extended expired contract while they negotiate. This might actually be a good thing for them - having Hollywood striking along side them is probably better than trying to negotiate alone.

But in all honesty, it doesnā€™t bother me that much. The UPS strike had me more nervous for what that could do to peopleā€™s lives around the country. Writers, Actors, Voice Artists going on strike doesnā€™t effect me much. I just watch more news. Lucky I am a news junky, I donā€™t see the news going on strike anytime soon.

Iā€™m IATSE, so while we arenā€™t technically striking, weā€™re running a lot of support for our SAG kin. Management will always, always protect capital over labor. Thatā€™s why unions are so important. If that makes me a commie, well then paint me red (it doesnā€™t, though thatā€™s a dive into socioeconomic and political theory, and letā€™s just not).

I watch zero TV or movies so the strike doesnā€™t affect me anyway. Good luck to them.

This actually reminds me that Iā€™m late on my union dues. Whoops!

I got covid.

It was not fun.

I am currently agonizing over leaving my job making beer for a job as a fulltime firefighter (like, paid, and well). I think my forsaken and night elves are ready. I donā€™t have any draenei I want to turn red or space even if I did, but I am looking forward to a few acts of chaos around Wyrmrest. I hit 1800 on my monk, which was a bitter slog because franky, I am not that good at arenas. I am now out of ponies to get from PvP which is painful. I probably need to figure out whoā€™s selling heirlooms for marks of honor.

I bought another totem for my tauren because my girls deserve to be able to color coordinate. I have way too many pets to level. And alts to level.

Iā€™m still getting caught up on the MCU, usually watching one episode or movie a day, while currently being in 2018, so since I still have a lot to go Iā€™m not too worried about the SAG-AFTRA strike, being nearly done with Daredevil season 3. It gives me less to get caught up on. What Iā€™m curious about is if there will be any sort of innovation during the strike. If it goes on for too long, people will find new ways to create content.

I am notoriously terrible at responding but give it a shot.

You seem to be hemming and hawing about it, no worries.

I mean itā€™s a yes but Iā€™ve my phone notifications set up to only show me work related stuff.

Kinda lucky I live in the age of instant transmission if I had pen pals odds are Id not get back to them before the next plague took them.

Canā€™t seem to add you. Donā€™t know why.
