Oh we were talking about AI? I have been going down an AI rabbit hole for days. It’s pretty crazy stuff.
I really did not understand how sophisticated AI was becoming over the last few years. In 2001, an AI managed to pass the Turning Test in St. Petersburg Russia, and it did this compensating for it’s improper/robotic speech patterns by pretending to be a teenage who speaks Russian as 3rd language.
That was 20 years ago.
Now we have ChatCPT and Lambda (Which is rumored by one of the Engineers that Lambda is sentient. Which, he is probably full of it, but google also fired him for breaching company confidentiality soooo).
Israel has used AI assassin drones in combat. Little drones with an explosive and facial recognition linked to a Terrorist database, and they are deployed in swarms and go hunting…
The US just bought a bunch of PILOTLESS jets. Not remote piloted drones… PILOTLESS drones. 100% automated. That is some Skynet stuff.
Is a lot of this exaggerated? Probably. But technology develops at an exponential rate. In 5 years, this technology is going to be -scary-

Seems I got stood up again. Been waiting on this person for an hour and they haven’t shown up or texted back. It takes awhile for me to get the courage to do things like this yet it turns out to be a waste of time. I suggested seeing a movie, they didn’t like any that are currently at the theaters so they countered with hanging out at the lake, but I don’t think that makes for a good first date so I brought up going to an arcade and they agreed. Might’ve been better if I were declined, because now I’m wondering if I was a jerk for not going with their offer, but my paranoia sets in sometimes and things like that make me think I’ll get robbed.
I feel like I have to do something even if it’s not some huge thing
Although I am doing dinner this weekend additionally but still that’s not huge

That’s actually a cool combo of colors, for me it’s pink and black but I’m emo at heart so I prefer the super girly girl side of things or the misunderstood rebel side of things or I’ll take a crisscross both colors in an outfit at Hot Topic or Spencer’s.

You’re absolutely right. When I go with my instinct I’m usually right. I shouldn’t doubt myself when it comes to this because safety is important above all else. This happening isn’t too big of a deal anyway, mostly just an annoyance. I can move on fine.
