WoW’s factions are, imho, the best in the MMO genre specifically because of their variety. I’ve said the Forsaken feel like something specifically made for me before and know others to have a similar fondness for other factions. So I think some people interpret others not liking or making fun of theirs as a personal attack.

And I’m all for some sports team rivalry here. But honest to God I’ve seen more calm, reasonable debate between people who’s actual IRL countries are at war than I’ve seen between Red and Blue hardliners. It’s just absurd after a point.

How I imagine it went down :joy:

I just learned what Gen Z calls a borg. I am not amused.

Got the feeling I don’t want to know. Doesn’t sound good

A Swedish Tennis champion?

Black Out Rage Gallon. It’s water, vodka and powdered protein mixed together in a jug. College students binge drink it to get drunk.

I wanna throw up just thinking about that

Never got stuff like that. Remember my friends wanting to do something called a “Man Shot” or something. Think it was just a regular shot but you got lemon juice squeezed in your eye, or snorted salt, or got punched in the face - or some asinine combination thereof.

Just remember standing there going “Or, and hear me out, I just drink the alcohol like a normal person”. Seriously did orange juice or seltzer water go somewhere? That’s gotta taste like Satan’s taint.

Just looked it up and I must say: One would think it would be literally Black colored with it’s name but noooo…

Sometimes kool aid mix too

That’s really dumb, that might be one of the stupidest things I’ve heard. That’s like a Barfight Shot, which is something you take with someone but after you drink it you punch the other person. That’s something I heard about in some ghetto dive bar I went to once, a friend of mine wanted to go there for some reason. An older woman was flirting with a guy there who wasn’t interested in her and she got upset when his girlfriend showed up, she came to me to complain about it and called him racial slurs. I vowed not to go back to that place, worst bar I’ve ever been to so far.

The Blue Recluse

More like the Pig & Whistle

My craziest bar experience was caused by pool game bets gone awry. Some argument and scuffle occured and one of the belligerents walked to his car, got out a handgun, marched back in and fired a shot up into the ceiling I imagine to intimidate the guys he was arguing with.

Trouble was this was a two story bar, a fact the gunman I think realized shortly thereafter, because he panicked and ran like hell. Eventually being caught by police hiding under cars in a nearby college parking lot.

Now luckily nobody happened to be standing directly above him. But it was pretty packed that night. And of course this being America a gun going off anywhere crowded is going to incite a panic. So quite a few more people were injured in the bedlam that followed.

Wisconsin is a magical place.

Reminds me of how Palpatine brought Anakin as a Teenager to a Bar in the Coruscant Undercity(hiding his face with Robes) just to show him the corrupt Senators while subtly encouraging Anakin to make a corrupt Senator lose all his winnings(forcing him to do things that would get him arrested) by manipulating the roll of the dice with the Force.

Afterwards Palpatine took Anakin back to his office and after removing the robe informed Anakin that Democracy keeps him from eliminating the corruption in the Senate despite still condemning Dictatorship out loud so as to not be too obvious while sowing the seeds of discontent against the Democracy in Anakin’s heart.

I have always imagined how a Dark Side Order not opposed to the Jedi(and not the Sith since the Jedi oppose them by default unlike other Dark Side Orders like the Nightsisters) would deal with this sort of corruption: by using the Force to instigate Bar Fights to get every corrupt Senator killed off until the Senate is purified of corruption utterly.

Said Dark Side Order would also eliminate the Crime Lords outside the Republic’s purview like the Hutt Cartels personally without establishing a replacement as “forcing Order will breed Chaos whereas constantly inducing Chaos will eventually lead to Order” constantly rolling the dice until the desired result is achieved.

Basically I would want a Dark Side Order focused on the idea of rolling the dice to get a Miracle over the Sith’s desire for Absolute Certainty or even an Agent of Chaos’s rolling the dice and accepting the result whatever it may be.

I go to a lot of different bars and I don’t usually see conflict. Most bar conflict I’ve experienced happened at the barcade I use to work at, and most of that could’ve been prevented. It was usually some military guy who was easily angered or was outright looking for someone to fight. They were easy to notice and I’d point out to my boss that these people were going to cause trouble yet I’d get ignored, then they’d beat up someone before running away. State law made it that we’d have to collect every customer’s information, so these idiots didn’t think upon the fact that we had enough to get them Article 15’d.

One time a friend of mine had left his custom pool stick in an unoccupied corner, but a group of army guys started a pool game and used it without his permission. When they were done I brought the stick back to my friend. One of the guys got pissed off about this, but I played a 2s match against some people in his group which resulted in one of them throwing pool balls at us before getting kicked out. That group waited by the door all night for me to go outside, and near closing time one of them got impatient. He took off all his clothes and walked back inside only in his boxers, asking me when I was going to go outside, then went back outside before staff could confront him with that group leaving after getting fed up waiting for me.

So much beer. So much cheese. And there’s a reason why God banished his Fallen Angels Loki and Bartleby there for eternity in the movie Dogma.

Was a hilarious movie when I was younger. I used to love it. Haven’t watched it in years. Last I heard, the gimmicks and jokes haven’t aged that great
