I got my quests done in time to unlock the Kul Tiran race today, but… the patch broke MogIt! So I’m not going to try to play until it’s updated, which hopefully won’t take too long. I did get to see the portal room, though, and it’s super pretty!
In the meantime, I’ve been getting excited for Classic WoW. I watched a bunch of Mad Season videos about it while doing my embroidery, and it’s really got my gears turning. I think I will make a Tauren Shaman and Dwarf Hunter. They’re the closest Vanilla has to Pandaren, after all! And I often miss the classic totem design and pet mechanics. Can’t wait to stake out Snarler in Feralas again like the old days!
I’ve also been pondering whether to get Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. I really enjoyed Bloodborne, so a new FromSoft game sounds super fun, but I’m hesitant about some of the changes. Mainly going from a bunch of different, unique, two-in-one weapons to just a single weapon. Pre-release impressions seem positive still, but I’ll have to think about it some more. Anyone here planning on picking it up? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I unlocked the Zandalari Trolls last night. It was an interesting set of quests they put you through. Chose to make a paladin for the heck of it. I have to admit, I like the paladin mount.
And my new computer has shipped. I hope it gets here soon because I cannot stand the low FPS and lag anymore.
Today I took advantage of the character cap increase to make a full roster of Horde and Alliance races on my server. It was pretty fun, coming up with names and appearances for everyone. I unfortunately ended up with a fair few more duplicate classes than I would have liked, but as a certain verdant regular here would say, you can never have too many hunters! Even if it’s four.
Also also, it’s so warm today! It got to 65 degrees here. Spring!!! I can start planting flowers soon, start getting fresh air! So glad we’re through the winter. Nothing can get me down in this weather ^.^
Did the scenario to unlock the Zandalari Trolls today… please tell me people I wasn´t the only one that noticed the cute little Brutosaur Cub named “Ben´maka” near the Witch Doctor Jangalar!!!
I demand a cute brutosaur pet naow!! Only for fangirling purposes ofc…
Yeah man, thank god it’s hitting the winter seasons where I live. I abhor summer because we always get heat waves that last like a week and they are awful.
I’m convinced I’m part plant. I need lots of sun, heat, and humidity. Especially humidity. Winter dries my skin to the point I’m using lotion at a rate that’d leave Buffalo Bob aghast. It dries out my sinuses to the point I just have a perpetual nosebleed all winter.
Plus, I can just manage heat better. I don’t mind shedding an extra layer or two, but I can’t work in gloves, or with scarves strangling me, and stuff.
Oh don’t get me wrong, I love winter too! Snow is amazing. It’s beautiful, and makes the whole world feel hushed in quiet awe. Plus nothing beats the feeling of getting snug under a couple blankets with a big cozy sweater on! And the holidays, ahh. I’m a sucker for Christmas, let me tell you. I wrapped over a hundred presents this past December! I have everyone I know bring me boxes of gifts and I wrap for them. Feels pretty juicy to know what everyone is getting in advance, too >:3
I just love, like… all the seasons. They each have something that makes me happy. Whenever one comes knocking, I’m overjoyed to see it! And that will surely apply to the next winter, too~
Oh I adore rain too. Part of why spring’s so nice! I have an arsenal of umbrellas I’m always eager to put to work ^.^
We had one of those this summer and the government in their infinite wisdom cut the power in our area to reduce the power load. 45 degrees and no fans or ac. I no longer fear hell because I’ve already been.
I wish we got snow here. Our winters are more mundane. Lots of cold and rain. Christmas falls in summer here so it’s more like 'tis the season to melt into a puddle.
I’m the exact opposite. Bring on the cold because I can always put on pants and nudity in summer is frowned on.
I’m aware. Like I said about winter, I can’t work in gloves. I need tactile information on what I’m doing. The ones with the big spines are ironically pretty ok, if you’re gentle with them. The Peruvian Apple cactus, though, has those tiny stinging hairs that get everywhere.
