of course you don’t because at this point you’ve lost. There’s no excuse for your behavior.
I think the story forum deserves to know it was you who was mass flagging people.

I hear a fly buzzing. I believe it just described itself.
Twinkletorch, please don’t get involved.
On separate news, I been questing in pandaria again and it’s such a beautiful continent. Been mostly doing the Order of Cloud Serpents daily quests and Jade Forest quests as I come across them.
Got half of the jade forest chapter done without realizing it. That’s how you know it’s a good expac, when you flow from one quest to another without even meaning too
I’m almost finished questing in Uldum. I found out that you get a quest to round up Pygmies and put them in cages, at the exact same time you get a quest to round up camels. What message are they sending here? That these two races are equivalent?
I really need to revisit Pandaria again, it’s been a while because I have some not-so-great IRL memories attached to the expansion.
Jade Forest almost feels TOO quick, it’s such a gorgeous zone I wanted to stay there so much longer than we got to. I recall also really loving Townlong Steppes and how dark of a storyline it was. I’ll have to give Panda-land another try when I get the itch for another alt!
Another zone I haven’t done in eons. I don’t remember this quest at all. I always thought the whole Pygmie thing on the Lost Isles in the Goblin starting zones was a strange choice. I completely forgot they were in Uldum, Which area of the zone is this in?
It’s a quest you get at the Oasis of Vir’saar. Uldum is a zone that’s split into two storylines, one with the Tol’vir, and another with Harrison Jones. The quest I’m referring to comes shortly after Commander Schnottz betrays you, during the Harrison Jones storyline.
Good luck!! I got the itch when I was off on Wednesday. I go back when the mood strikes me. For now going to do the cloud serpent dailies because if I recall, you get your own cloud serpent eventually.
You do! If you’ve not farmed the rep before to unlock the Cloud Serpents, I highly recommend scouring the local hills/cliffs for the eggs, major boost to rep grind! The Cloud Serpent mounts are gorgeous.
I have the red thundering one. Going for the green cloud serpent now. And I just realized, now that my character is a panda, I can tame cloud serpents
Squeels in delight
Ah yes, this jogs my memory a bit. The Harrison Jones quests were always full of odd choices for the sake of “comedy”, so I’m guessing the whole Pygmy bit is supposed to be amusing? Stuff like that really doesn’t age well IMO.
it was nice to have flying mount-based content again. MoP really was a last hurrah of WoW’s original systems designers
Didn’t age from the word go, imo.
I am a huge fan of Indiana Jones, introduced The Last Crusade to all of my Korean classes, though a few parts make me cringe today and had to explain them. I was barely amused by Jones in Zul’Aman and every subsequent appearance was worse.
Yeah, you’re absolutely right. Definitely insensitive cringe on Blizzard’s part.
I am sorry, friends, about the drama. I need a break from here. Goodbye. You’ll all be better off without me.
In general it’s wild how much Cata content references truly random bits of pop culture. Warcraft has always done that but usually it was side stuff like Larion and Muigin from Un’Goro who were obvious references to Nintendo’s Mario Brothers. But that was about it. They had a pretty unrelated quest for Blue and Red players respectively. You didn’t have an extended storyline where you’ve to rescue Princsss Plumb from the clutches of Drowser or whatever.
And what made Jones a better appearance his first time – I mean, aside from the obvious uncomfortable flashing racism quest – was that he showed up and his purpose was solely to get merked. Like “haha, he’s not Indiana Jones, that doesn’t work here.”
That wasn’t good, but it was better.
I’ll miss you, Doness. Take care.
My least favorite are the Crown Chemical Co. Apothecaries in SFK during the Valentine’s Day event.
Because I thought they were hinting at some interesting bit of Forsaken lore I was unaware of. Was there some schism within RAS? Could these guys be up to something heroic and we’re foolishly thwarting them?
No. Turns out it was a reference to The Rock. Which is a movie I’ve seen, but I didn’t immediately make the connection, because my only memory of it is Nicholas Cage killing Tony Todd with a ballistic missile Elton John pun.
Like thanks I was becoming dangerously close to becoming intrigued there. Guess I’ll have to brush up on my Ed Harris Best Moments YouTube compilations to make sure that doesn’t happen again.
I hate every single holiday in-game that is just “real world holiday badly transported in” because it’s full of that stuff. Just chock full.
Granted, I am also a grinch who hates holidays in general these days, but I used to be super sunny about those. I used grab friends and start caterwauling – ahem, caroling – on street corners in the middle of my dead neighborhood where no one talks to each other. The absolute worst sincerely-performed holiday songs you’ve ever heard because I was just full of so. much. Christmas spirit, and I’d always seen caroling in all the cartoons from America so obviously this is a thing people did and my friends did not have the heart to stop me.
And I still went “I don’t like this” the first time I saw Winter’s Veil way back in vanilla.
I will say making Halloween the Forsaken’s 4th of July was an absolutely brilliant move. But they haven’t done much with it since.
Come to think of it I think that might be the only holiday with in game lore ties. Pilgrim’s Bounty has gotta be the biggest non sequitur though.
