Speaking of masterpieces of story telling Planescape Torment is also a masterpiece.

When I first heard of the Transcendent One on TV Tropes I simply thought that he was simply the Nameless One’s Mortality yet reading Ravel Puzzlewell’s dialogue reveals that he is indeed the Nameless One’s actual Soul.

Ravel Puzzlewell was not Carmen Sandiego who could simply remove the concept of Mortality from the Nameless One.

In otherwords Ravel Puzzlewell made it so that the Lich’s Phylactery would be sustained by the Lich’s Soul and the Light of the Souls of others. Furthermore killing the Body permanently where there are no Souls to provide Light to sustain it causes the Lich’s Soul to be expended killing him.

Ravel Puzzlewell’s procedure was imperfect in that it payed more attention to the Body than the Soul focusing on the Body’s preservation not the Soul’s.

Incidentally Kreia is one of Ravel Puzzlewell’s Fragments according to Chris Avellone.

Imagine the Force unleashing an Echo of all of Ravel’s Fragments dying into the Star Wars Universe!

The Echo of Malachor would be as a mere atom compared to the Nuke that would be the Echo of Ravel Puzzlewell’s demise!

No wonder Kreia wanted the Exile to sever the Force Bond and kill her before Ravel’s demise could kill or corrupt everyone! Provided Kreia’s Soul goes to the Star Wars Afterlife instead of safely to the D&D one the Echo of Ravel’s demise would only reach the Force’s Afterlife and the Souls might shriek but they would eventually calm down though what their Morality would be like is hard to say.

Shocking how the D&D Multiverse should have such an effect on the Star Wars Universe through one of Ravel Puzzlewell’s Fragments.

I’ve been thinking about how to respond to this, and I just want to say:

I’ve been there. You asked what made me a target before, and among them was definitely a tendency to overshare in the depths of depression. Not that anything justifies being treated badly. I respect a desire to gate what you say for an appropriate venue, but if you’d like to talk, I am free to listen when my attention span can settle.

I wish you the best in dealing with it, and I like seeing you around here.

Cristan Cole is no longer a vibe. Sir Harwin Strong is the new vibe. Daemon is still a ‘fix me baby’ absolute mess.

Sir Harwin saw her after she killed a boar all bloody and wild and was like, “yuup. I like that.” In my house we appreciate men who are not scared away by the fire.

I absolutely loved how daemon just casually strolled in to the wedding ceremony though.

Oh man, oh man. I came here to say this. He went from handsome knight side-piece to unhinged lunatic in like 10 secs flat. I felt so sad for Laenor, given the circumstance he had the best option available to him but Ser Criston really went OFF. Yikes!

Excited to see Ser Harwin though, STRONG INDEED. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I can’t lie, I did like how MESSY Larys Strong turned out to be. I was :coffee: :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: when he was talking to Alicent in the garden. An absolute crap disturber.

Did you also notice how Daemon just stayed seated while Alicent did her green dress powerplay too? I absolutely hollered! He’s so damn petty, LOL.

I will say, I did HATE him for Rhea Royce’s death. She was there for like 5 whole minutes and was an absolute boss the entire time. RIP Bronze Babe girlboss.

He’s still a sexy mess, but he has to do the work first.

When he goes crawling to Alicent begging her to kill him, I lost all respect for that man. Also, that scene where he kills Laenor’s BF was lowkey homophobic. This show is very “bury your gays” and that’s a negative, but I love how this show is written and shot entirely for the female gaze.

Cristan and Alicent deserve eachother. He’s a weazel and Alicent can have the sloppy seconds.

Larys is going to make a good spymaster.

Also Daemon’s wife is a vibe. He made her seem ugly but she’s just a bad b**** who doesn’t put up with him. He couldn’t manipulate her so she had to go.

No kidding, getting P.O. off at Rhaenyra for not wanting to refuse the crown to live like a hobo in Braavos after a one-night stand? Those oranges would have to be spun from gold, babe. This man needs to get a GRIP.

I will say, I like that they flipped the narrative here in terms of gender roles because reversed roles really make people question their thought process. I see some people defending Ser Criston but I feel like there’d be less of that if it was reversed. I’m happy they are showing that men can be just as unhinged when it comes to keeping face. We don’t stan a jealous turd with an overinflated sense of honor, sorry Ser Criston.

You’re right about him and Alicent, I felt bad for her in the beginning but now I’m of the mind that she needs to mind her own damn business. Girl, you can’t be mad at Rhaenyra for lying to you when you straight up MARRIED HER DAD.

YESSSSS. :clap::clap::clap:

Him crying because he broke his own vow of chastity and sullied his white cloak felt like accusation of grape after consent. Boy, you knew what you were doing. It took 45 minutes to take off your armor… at any point you could have stopped. I love how this show normalizes female sexuality. Criston’s “am I just a ho?” Yeah, that’s what a royal mistress is boo.

Just like what Daemon said in episode 4, if she were a man it wouldn’t even be questioned.

One scene I loved with Harwin Strong was how she bumped into him when she was dressed as a boy, he recognized her, he saw her with Daemon but didn’t patronize her, he treated her exactly the way she wanted to be treated in that moment. He kept with her disguise, “get out of here boy! I won’t be so lenient on you next time!.” No judgement, no running to snitch to the King, he’s a real class act. She better husband him up soon :joy:

her real husband showed up to her wedding lol love it.

And LIED to Rhaenyra about what she was doing

I will say again, I just adore how daemon does not give a ish about what people think of him. And his wife was awesome, no wonder he hated her. He couldn’t break that woman no matter how hard he tried
