I just never connected with the alliance as a whole. I still love the worgen, it’s just they feel so out of place on the golden good boy side.
The horde was always fascinating to me, with the whole concept of shamanism and loyalty to family and clan being something unique to them. Jokes on all of us though as the Outsiders aren’t allowed to been seen as anything other than monsters and murders, which is oddly how most of the US views most immigrants.
But yeah, like I said, I’m a hordie at heart. Always will be
Anyway, someone liked my cute non binary tauren today and that made me sooooo happy. This is why I also the horde so much, almost every RPer I ran into has been super nice and really inclusive to those who play characters outside of what is considered normal by societies standards.
Most of my toons are usually femboys or non binary. It’s what I’m comfortable playing as. The biggest reason I dislike the alliance? Is the RP scene is very racist towards people like me who play gay characters. And it’s really sad.
It actually made me cry a few times and want to quit the game with how cruel some people were to me on Moonguard.
Speaking of which…I really should play my blood elf a bit. Might delete them though and just make a Dracthyr later. Having more than two toons freaks me out
Benedikt showed me the Horde RP spot, people are really chill. I got an achievement in Orgrimmar and I got a bunch of whispers saying congrats, it’s a really supportive realm
The horde in general on most RP realms seem to be super chill. Everyone I interacted with horde side on MG has been super nice and really supportive.
Than again, the RP profiles are more creative too. We got half human/trolls and one person using the BE female model to RP a human who defected to the horde and generally? Nobody gives a damn about it. On the alliance side, ironically half the people either don’t know the lore or want to police every minor detail of peoples characters
There’s an RPer who is a Forsaken and she always infiltrates Storwind old Town and kills and eats all NPC’s in the inn and then serves people drinks at the bar.
Lmao! That’s awesome. I met someone who has a BE elf and Void Elf(the VE is made to look like her horde toon) and she RPs the alliance one as a spy for the horde. It’s clever.
All I will say is, if I could, I would adopt every single Vulpera. CUTE LITTLE FUR BALLS!
Moonguard alliance side has always been a toxic cesspit. Bunch of man babies running around making fun of other peoples character, for daring to be different.
Now that the timeskip thing seems to be confirmed, I hope an update of Kalimdor and EK is on its way for the next expansion. Exploring Kalimdor paved the way for one of my stupid WoW dreams : having Shatterspear Vale remade into a proper Horde town, with quests, characters, vendors and a flight master!! The book indicates that the Shatterspear are rebuilding their village and have a new chieftain, a new character named Ohseso : https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Ohseso
I hope as many subfactions as possible are part of the Dragonscale expedition so we have updates about them. SL has been a 2 years lore drought. Now I’m thirsty for anything slightly Azeroth-related LMAO
I only had to read over this a moment (without reading up further) before I realized you were Moonguard. It is weird how different the RP culture is for WrA. It is was more stringent in my experience about voiding Blizzard’s lore in any serious manner.
I’ve not really done much RP in awhile on WoW though, the Alliance side WrA RP scene got very, very scarce during shadowlands.
MG alliance even has a entire community RP group that polices peoples backgrounds for what they consider lore breaking tidbits. That’s NOT even factoring the rampant homophobia and sexism, that I as a guy have been subjected to because I enjoy playing more feminine male toons.
It’s why I had to get off my worgen and draenei characters or I was going to have a full blown nervous breakdown. I lost count how many times people have legit made me cry and want to quit the game.
