Man, I envy delusional optimists.

Lol, like we care.

better than being a massive-depressive nihilist.

I don’t want to make a whole thread about it but you can :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes… Hense why I envy it. Being a delusional optimist sounds great.

The problem is Blizzard has eroded my trust to many times. And with how Diablo immortal turned out? I do not see anything changing.

But from a moral stand point. Your glorification of Sylvanas is disturbing.

so is your justification of Aleria so I think I’m the kettle, you are the pot.

I am not justifying Alleria. I am saying her hatred makes sense given her experience and what the Horde has done.

I think it is far more reasonable than Sylvanas trying for a global extermination because she can’t get over her trauma. Evil on behalf of weakness is the worst kind.

I’m not even going to touch your absolute lack of empathy for trauma survivors.

Lol, its not a lack of empathy… My empathy ends when victims make more victims. Everyone has some kind of trauma from something in life. The difference between strength and weakness is how we carry it. If we continue the cycle or if we let it die with us.

Sylvanas continued the cycle, and lied to herself that she was changing things. Weakness and cowardice. There is nothing respectable about it.

but this is fiction, and the night elves were blessed with divine intervention so it’s not like irl, she wasn’t making more victims.

your anti-Sylvanas opinions don’t hold any weight anymore after Shadowlands.

… You don’t think everyone who died in a needless war and the children who were burned alive, all who were sent to the Maw for eternal torture, are victims?

No they are fictional characters.

You can’t tug on my heartstrings by saying “think about the night elven babies in the tree!” because canonically they don’t exist. I give them just as emapthy as I give hilsbrad farmers that I’ve killed in this game.

By that reasoning, Sylvanas is not a victim either.

You are the one who always harps on about how Sylvanas is a Victim. Now you want to backtrack after you learn that Sylvanas does what many other victims do and became an abuser?

what, no I just pointed out that Alleria is a psychopath who wants nothing more than to commit genocide. This was never about Sylvanas, you made this about her.

Aleria is a psycopath who wants to commit genocide for funsies.

-I- made this about Sylvanas?

Alleria hates orcs because, in her experience, orcs have caused a lot of destruction and heartbreak, and she has never met an orc who did anything else.

 so we agree Aleria justifying genocide against the orcs, because she has trauma, is evil. If Alleria commits genocide she is just as evil as Sylvanas if not more, since Sylvanas was coerced into genocide, and Aleria would have chosen to commit genocide out of hate, Alleria would be worse.

Sure… But I also understand how she got there. I never said she was RIGHT. What I said was, I think Sylvanas is a lot worse.

Alleria’s hate is due to a twisted sense of justice. Orcs did this and have to pay. It is flawed thinking, but with everything the Horde has done, it certainly seems the number of orcs who aren’t butchering innocents is in the minority.

Where as Sylvanas’ hate… It’s not even hate. It’s fear. And it is entirely selfish.

Awesome music video about our girl sylvanas

Using winds of fate to level my 50-60 contingent (large). Got bored of waiting on Horde queue times, so merc’d on my vulpera.

Mechagnome arms warrior. Problem: Mechagnome warriors are HILARIOUSLY AWESOME and now I kind of regret making my mechagnome a rogue. 50 slots is NOT ENOUGH.
