Being a theater kid myself I think I know the dude’s type.
Pampered trust fund lush who while not bereft of talent largely succeeds because if father’s connections. Grows into an adult who’s experienced more drugs than consequences, who is quite literally preformatively progressive.
All Miller has to do now is move to Mexico City to gentrify the crap out of it, while speaking zero Spanish of course, all while still ranting about wealth inequality without a shred of self awareness.
Granted I don’t think any of them are on some Manson meets R Kelly madness but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they did.
Can’t say I’m too well versed in it. I honestly don’t pay much attention to actors because they’ve the most overrated job imaginable.
There are child actors. Who here has a job they reasonably believe a literal child could handle? I’d wager not many of us.
The Amber Depp thing was pretty eye opening because evidently these people have the sort of leeway usually only afforded to toddlers. Piss in a hotel room, crap in the bed, pass out in a hallway - it’s no big deal an adult will come around to clean up the mess.
If any of these people worked at Applebee’s they’d be in jail.
Okay didnt hear about the brand. Thats uh, alarming.
Last thing I saw him in was Death On The Nile. Which accidentally had the funniest tagline imaginable; “Everyone is suspect”. Because in addition to Hammer you had other celebrities like Russel Brand, Gal Gadot and Letita Wright - all of whom bumbled into their own controversies between the movies filming and release.
Shame too because I really enjoyed that and the previous Murder On The Orient Express. It’s a slick adaptation of a mystery story told well. I hope to God I get to see a Holmes story adapted as intelligently. Instead of the one where he kung fu fights a wizard, or the BBC one where the character might as well be a wizard for how he inexplicably solves every problem.
Those old stories are still masterpieces because they give the reader all the evidence Holmes has. Giving you an opportunity to try to puzzle it out yourself. And then solves it by arranging the pieces in ways you didn’t think of. They don’t cheat. Trouble is this requires the author to be cleverer than the audience which seems difficult for screenwriters.
Sadly none of my Void Elves are well suited for the Dark Ranger skin, and I don’t need any more of the classes available to them to make a new character. I already have three Hunters as it is.
This was a low level char I had laying around. Got a free boost when I bought the new expansion. Probably going to do the venthyr covenant and get the armor set from them for this char. It’s good enough to last until dragon lands
I’m gonna do the Venthyr campaign on my Void Elf Warlock, but her transmog and look matches her Voidlord demon, so sadly the red eyes don’t really work for her.
The biggest issue with her that comes up is that she is an Israeli Jew who supports Israel. That alone gets a lot of the world irate. On many sides.
There is a movement among progressives to boycott Israel because of the Palestine issue. She does not agree with it. So she gets some flack. But it isn’t much - most people don’t seem to be bothered by it. Just a vocal few. Her movies still do well.
Holmes incidentally is shown in the Stories he narrates to be almost as incompetent as Watson.
The only thing he has going for him is that he is observant and holds an encyclopedia in his head while Watson’s lack of observation makes it easier for Holmes to figure out any flaws in his own deductions.
If Poirot and Holmes were working on a Case together then Holmes would be the Watson of the Case due to Poirot’s actual competence.
