Wtf. This lady on Jeopardy has been winning the final round multiple times by $2. She’s the Two Dollar Champion.
Most of my engagement with Shadowlands has been getting my 50s up to 60 through random BGs alone.
There is a slight possibility I’m having fun wrong, but at least there’s a good set of gear for me at the end of it.
Tbh I’ve been having fun leveling alts until I get to Shadowlands. Then I have fun in Revendreth, then it sucks again.
Wouldn’t it be nice that instead of being yanked away to “reality” as soon as you ding 50, you could continue leveling in whatever timeline you want all the way to 60? Although I am very interested in Dragonflight, I hope they make that possible by at least then.
As much as I loathe Sylvanas’s story that cutscene woke me up.
Zereth Mortis is genuinely quite gorgeous but it has so completely nothing to do with WoW. I wasn’t joking when I said this made me stop and go play Halo Infinite because it was on gamepass. It looks the same and also named a bunch of stuff with meaningless, pseudo theological pretentious bullcrap; High Charity, Faith’s Repose, Destiny’s Ascension, Pilgrim’s Grace, Genesis Gate.
Be honest can any of you offhand remember which one of those are from Zereth Mortis?
Sylvanas’s story remains the most pointless squandering of an interesting classic character and everything she took down with her. But Christ I recognized a farm in Pre Spooktacular Lordaeron. That was nice. Hated why it was being shown to me but I was reminded of other much better stories that happened there once.
I can, but it’s also because I farmed a rare boss outside of it for days until I got the sword transmog I wanted.
But I agree. Def feels extra-setting, like extraterrestrial.
Does anyone have a lore explaination as to why Thrall was able to summon the elements on Dreanor? Or in the Shadowlands?
His Shamanism is tied to Azeroth elements only, no?
Shamans get their power wherever the elements exist. I can’t explain the shadowlands though.
So Thrall being able to squish Garrosh with the elements on Dreanor is normal and expected then?
Shamanism according to all sources involves either speaking with the Elements asking them for help(Spirit-Aligned Shaman) or forcing them into submission(Decay-aligned Shaman).
It depends on the shaman in question. Some have a easier time getting the elements to answer and aid them. Elementals are chaotic by nature and very…easy to get on the bad side of.
Like when the elementals outright abandoned the shamans of MU Draenor, when the clans started using Fel Magic.
There are elements in the Shadowlands. I’m more concerned about mages being able to use magic there.
Garrosh killed one of the AU Elementals’ Elder Shaman buddies, so they probably were happy to help Thrall.
Good news. I tested negative =)
That’s great news
They somehow managed to take like. The last piece of lore tied to the Emerald Dream, that Ardenweald hadn’t already stolen. And make it ‘Actually Shadowlands better’ lmao. Steve couldn’t help himself.
Finally saw that new Doctor Strange movie.
And I of course really enjoyed it. At a point theres a zombie wizard zooming around with a cloak made out of the hungry souls of the Damned- of course I did. God I love Sam Rami’s work.
Kinda want to see if DC would offer him a shot at like a John Constantine or the Spectre movie in the same vein as letting Gunn do Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.
I adore the work of both of those filmmakers and their Marvel stuff was fun and still distinctly theirs. But they had the family friendly filter on.
I just found out that my city ran out of names to name streets so they started naming streets after places in World of Warcraft.
There’s legit a “Stormwind Avenue”
There’s also
Ashenvale Way
Silvermoon Crescent
Winterspring Ridge
Proudmoore Park
I’m not surprised we lowkey identify as Alliance because there’s a lot of lion statues around town…
That’s really good to know Baal, really good to know. Yesterday I went to the barbershop and asked the barber to cut my hair 3 cm shorter. Then I paid him and went home to decide what I wanna eat. I had many options, but settled on a disgustingly lazy cheese and bacon sandwich with a fresh smoothie to battle the summer heat.
You should write a book about it.
