I also started vanilla when I was about 11 or 12.
Rating wasnât a problem. Biggest hurdle was convincing my parents the subscription fee wasnt a scam. And even then I wound up âbarrowingâ a lot of those one month subscription cards from Best Buy.
I was just happy itâs cartoony graphics ran fine on our prehistoric desktop. Come to think of it only very recently have I had the opportunity to run WoW on high graphics.

In the tv show Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, a character named Jimmy Jones played âCraft of War,â a parody of WoW.
Thatâs the most unrealistic part of the show, 2010âs zoomer kids playing WoW.
Man I used to write the worst cringe. Never bothered editing it either so it was just rife with spelling and grammatical errors too.

Oh vanilla, the Good Old Days. In my tenure of playing wow I have gotten only a single overnight ban, for losing my temper in PVP and telling other players they suck at PVP.
Ppl get away with so much worse now on a daily basis.

Iâm remembering why being a healer was so frustrating. While also seeing why Holy was the king spec this expansion. Man they gave them some teeth this round. Holy Fire, Chastise and Power Word: Death have put me near at top of the kill chart pretty handily.
But nothing is more annoying than hearing complaints about a lack of healing because youâre the only one with the presence of mind not to leave Farm unguarded or worse yet youâre getting focus targeted while the enemy healers free cast.
Meanwhile on the Rogue Iâm concurrently leveling my DPS and kill stats might be low but I won us the match by locking down the EFC or snatching nodes.
Rogue was my first love and I love that feeling of;
When I bait someone into trinketing on a kidney punch only to hit them with blind and take the node in front of them.
On the note of Demons summoning mortal warriors to fight in their turf wars, I just did a Broken Shore World Quest where an Imp sends a summons specifically attuned to the PC that requires the PCâs consent. The summoning was to help them kill their Demonic boss. Khadgar remarked how that is exactly how Demon and Elemental summoning works.
Blizz needs to get on this.

Iâm watching Herzogâs Nosferatu and thereâs this harrowing scene where plague rats overtake a table full of feasts. Itâs all very Masque of the Red Death.
But I happen to know white rats arenât found in nature. So those are all fancy rats, also known as pocket puppies, because they are delightful lil serotonin potatoes;
And I just cant imagine the intended reaction to this neo German expressionist nightmare scene was;
âDear God! So many bebies!â

Reminds me of old movies where someone is supposed to be attacked by a group of dogs. The person will get surrounded while theyâre on the ground and sometimes growls will get edited in but all the dogs are wagging their tails because they actually want to play with the actor.
