I only have an investment in this trial. Partly because I’m I’m interested in DV and psychological abuse relating to BPD. There’s also the added layer that this woman on male violence and male victims of DV are mistreated by the courts and society in general.
I also can’t wait for the court case between the Metoo movement against Amber Heard, that will also be a interesting case to watch.

If I were the judge I would say :
Me : “Mr. Depp, you were great in Edward Scissorhands, and so many other movies. Ms. Heard, you looked pretty good in that Aquaman film. That is my ruling!”
A lawyer : “…but… your honor… that doesn’t address the…”
Me : “Another outburst like that and I will hold you in contempt!”

Yeah I’ve been deliberately avoiding news. Chicago has a massive Slavic population. Knowing Russian or Polish here is arguably more useful than Spanish.
I don’t think I’ve had a class or job here without at least 3 Slavic classmates, coworkers or clients. So I know a lot of Eastern Europeans both here and over there. And this has made all of their lives extraordinarily worse.
Even countries like Poland which aren’t in the war are still dealing with a refugee crisis. Right after the pandemic so they still had huge economic and housing problems they were trying to fix, just like everyone else.
My heart completely breaks for Ukraine. And it freezes with fear for Russia.
I’ve known a Russian since middle school who’s opinion of his country mirrored my own. It’s a deeply flawed and corrupt place with an understandably widely reviled government. But it’s home, and I see it’s potential to become the wonderful place nationalists keep pretending it already is.
He’d bounced around Chicago and Novgorod a lot and after getting stuck here for the duration of 2020 he decided to move back. It was pretty emotionally taxing knowing if your parents died you wouldn’t be able to even attend the funeral.
Poor guy just wanted to be with family. Now he’s slumming it in Tublsi, Georgia. Both for moral reasons and because legitimate fears his international travels might flag him as a potential spy.
Watching everything you hoped your country could be turn to ash in your mouth as it transforms into a police state in a matter of weeks should scare the ever living ish out of Americans. We’re not that different.

Cata’s difficulty really is weird. I’ve bounced around a few expansions leveling this guy. Mainly trying to get mog items from quests.
And for Cata stuff I didn’t use my VW for fear of boring myself to death from lack of challenge.
But BC, Legion and MoP (I’m saving WoD for another deader I intend to roll) really aren’t afraid to toss you a meaty challenge.
Idk if it’s a design problem or a scaling one but I only died on my Nelf because I dozed off fighting murlocs.

I don’t know those mfers so I don’t care. In general the MeToo movement being hijacked by Hollywood was insane to me. Yeah it’s a well known problem in the entertainment industry.
It’s also a problem for every industry.
On that note though I was happy Terry Crews spoke out. That dudes about as built as a guy can be, and he had to grin and bear it even though he could’ve easily snapped his assailant in two.
Because it’s about power.

I don’t find that happening to be surprising, the upper class usually latches onto whatever is popular and forces it to serve its own whims. Another example is how they’re getting involved in NFTs, even though NFTs have always been a stupid concept there are now Hollywood actors like Reese Witherspoon who are trying to spin supporting this type of scam into ridiculous virtue signaling via claiming things like buying her NFTs supports under represented women in a male dominated space. Don’t know how allegedly helping women be better scammers supports the average person.

I found out today that LFD can get horn jewelry, that must have been added in 9.1 when I wasn’t playing, but it’s only for SOME of the horn styles and not the best one (this one)

Valdred Moray is that guy from classic who you kill. You take his hands. Specifically it’s said an Orc does this, so canonically an Orc PC did the quest.
You take his hands because a woman strangler. An undead in UC wants his hands because he murdered his wife. And an Orc got the job done.
I’d typically not be worried about a strangler in Tirisfal. But apparently they can be choked, or at least Tyrande can choke them. So.

I felt that cata dungeon difficulty was perfect.
