I just found out that a woman in Kyiv destroyed a Russian drone from her balcony using just a jar of pickles, so yes pickling veggies is a practical, tactical, skill to have.

So at about 10pm, an hour before I have to leave, one of the residents at the respite I work at came to me saying they were having an asthma attack. Now, this is at least a once a week occurance for this client, and I know the drill. So I find their rescue inhaler and assure them theyâre fine, blah blah blah. But nope, they are adamant.
They want me to call an amulance.
And I know, I freaking know, they donât need an ambulance because their vitals are fine. But once they ask, Iâm legally required to make the call. So I do.
The EMTs arrive and meet me outside. And I look, and this one EMT is new. Sheâs short-ish, just barely five feet tall, with her big burly guy EMT. We get upstairs, they check the clientâs O2 levels (99%, better than mine), tell the client theyâre fine, client insists they need to go to the hospital. Fine, fine, hospital it is. The client gets on the stretcher thing, we get downstairs. Thereâs a couple steps from the door to the sidewalk, so they have to carry the stretcher down. The guy gives a grunt as he lifts, the tiny lady just smirks at him and LIFTS her end no big deal.

Got The First Sigil trinket from the timewalking cache. It resets Door of Shadows for Venthyr which means between that, Theotar giving Door another charge, and Infernal Strike no mountain will stand in my way!

I was OBSESSED with the Underworld franchsie as a teen. I still lowkey kinda am. Selene is one of my all time favourite female characters.
