I just try and think of a theme myself and then try to coordinate some of the colors. But yeah, if you don’t have everything unlocked ( I am lacking in mail actually) it can be a little tougher. There’s also the restrictions of armor types per class. My mog right now on this character is going for a football look. American football that is… I tried to think of like, the shoulder pads and helmet, and then kinda find items that could work with the color scheme. I think I chose the helmet or shoulders first then worked around it. Conveniently my chest piece I usually wear already matched.
That’s my secret, I don’t mix colors.
I remember seeing it but I am not very internet savvy to begin with. My Warlock, Cursewords, has trust level 3, but I dont even know how to use all the fancy forum tricks. Like uploading a picture or a screenshot. I need to learn one day. Everyone makes it look so simple.
But I can post on a couple Alts whos Transmogs I really like. I am a fan of this Rogue’s Mog. Mercing as a Kul Tiran is quite a sight.
Mail is difficult. My Hunter and Shaman have the most mish-mashed and incomplete Tmogs.
I know I have tried to set up new mogs only to realize I didn’t have the piece of gear or it would take a mix of armor types. I would love to set up a rogue like Vanessa Van Cleef, but it’s a mix of cloth and leather armor.
I try to think of what theme I want for the character and how it fits into that character’s spec. Here’s my Blood Elf hunter. I chose a black dragonflight theme for her. If you can’t see it, she’s using Heartstriker from BWL for her bow. I even went so far as using the black drake mount when she travels and she frequently has a black whelp pet out (Ancalagon, named for one of Tolkien’s dragons).
They’re really embracing Pokemon Gun.
They suspended me for a day because I made a post saying Shadowlands looks bad…
Yeah unfortunately the only leather that exposes the legs is the woolies.
I like the black dragonflight theme though! I forgot about those shoulders. Tier 2 and its recolors is really some of the best stuff, for all classes.
I like the garden sickles… the name is funny for a Horde too. Orgrimmar do be looking like something out the Flinstones.
Thanks. Also, the way the Zandalari use dinosaurs as vehicles and other every day equipment reminds me of the Flintstones. I even have a Dinosaur glider racial!
And some of the Zandalari dinosaurs talk and get snarky, like on the Flintstones - we call them Loa.
I have this problem all the time too! So many designs I like aren’t viable because of it. I hope they decide to ease up on restrictions to allow a mix of armor types. Allowing more slots to be hidden was a step in the right direction.
…but where are her pants?
lol! I was really disappointed when I learned pants are the only thing that can’t be hidden.
Honestly… it is kind of dumb that they let every thing else be hidden but pants… as if that’s some major naughty no no.
This is what happens when a new country has Puritan origins. Everyone is supposed to be ashamed of their sexuality.
Whichever Blizzard dev came up with pets that share spawns (including non battle pet versions of themselves) so you have to spend two hours killing one to get the other to spawn is a terrible person.
Edit: Nm I figured it out
Just realized that Count Dooku knowing Force Lightning even as a Jedi(according to his own novel) is due to genetics according to Rise of Skywalker… The Serenno Noble House must be related to the Palpatine Noble House.
The Blue Force Lightning Bloodline is intriguing… It distinguishes itself from the Green Dark Side Lightning used by the Nightsisters and the Red Rage Empowered Lightning of the Son of Mortis.
I wonder how many Jedi fell due to the Jedi Order assuming Force Lightning is a choice and not knowing that the Blue Lightning is genetic unlike the Red and Green variants?
Does anyone else just enjoy watching the fallout that comes from the release of the Star Wars movies in the new trilogy?
