While I tend to side with Taliesen, who believes that nice mounts should not be placed in the store, they should be available to anyone willing to put in the time to get them. Even if they are incredibly expensive, gold-wise. Games like ESO sell attractive mounts with conditions attached, but their main income is the store. WoW functions on subscription, and that should be enough. (I mean, I would love one of the froggies but I’m a poor old lady gnome).
I have in the past been tempted into buying mounts from the store because I loved how they looked but I have to watch my money nowadays. And putting it attached to a 6 months sub is an absolutely obvious ploy.
We need more subs, more guaranteed cash from people in a lump sum now to boost the income figures for our investors. I know, lets do another of those 6 months thingees! OK artists, get to work making an irresistable pretty mount…
Not taking the hook mates, sorry. It IS pretty but the hook is just too big and obvious for this fishy.
