I actually have a problem with that as well but I just won’t buy any more mounts from the store if that is what they are doing.

That’s fine. I’ll just keep buying from the store and getting the mounts in game. Doesn’t bother me.

The bat mount from the store. But instead of black and red and silver, it’s a dark icy blue color

Good news!
That particular color of the mount you bought is still store only! And it might even be unavailable if it’s one being rotated out. So be glad you still have your store exclusive color, and be happy you can give it a buddy.

It’s pretty cute when people whine about their “exlusive mount/item” is now available to the masses as a re-skin. You paid for something rather than earning it, and you’re upset other people can use it too. I on the other hand earned my CM gear, and did not care in the slightest when a re-skin was made for the Order Hall. Why? Because the satisfaction of earning something is immensely stronger than that of just buying something.

Oh nice. I never got around to buying the bat, and now it’s being “hybernated”, so I’m happy they’ll have something similar available in game. Don’t really care if it’s a different color, I just want a bat!

I am not whining about it - I don’t like the idea and I just won’t buy any more mounts from the store if that is what they are planning on doing.

I am guessing they figure they can please both sides on this issue and have caved into the people who have been whinning about these mounts for years now. They might be able to in certain cases but not in mine.

There shouldn’t be paid items in a game we spend money on each expansion to play and then pay for a money fee to play.

They are selling us the same thing for a third time with the cash shop.

Am i seriously reading this correctly? Are you actually complaining the exclusivity of “BUYING” something, is now being reworked and provided for free, though not identical, for free in game. I can’t even…

This is what gaming has become with the infestation of MTX into gaming. You feel duped because you spent money on something they later add, albeit different to the game for free, which should never have been exclusive to purchase in the first place, despite that not actually “changing”.

You can say “I do it to support the game more”, all you want, but no game should contain items “exlusively for sale” in the first place, everything put in the shop should have a method to obtain in game, simultaniously. Even if that method is a fustercluck of a grind so tedious youd rather rip your finger nails out of your hands with pliers. You should be paying for the benefit of skipping the grind, it shouldnt be for obtaining something players whom choose not purchase to can’t.

That being said, I understand your frustration around making the purchase and similar free items now being added, because you should never have needed to purchase it in the first place. But, to complain its happening is the most backwards statement i think ive seen recently, and a lesson, to stop wasting money on obvious, useless, digital cash grabs so they stop doing them and put them back in the game.

The cash shop isn’t there for showing WoW support. It’s there for Blizzard to make money off of self indulgent consumers that want instant gratification.
