Stop with all the housing stuff

Look I get that player housing has been one of the most requested features and is very popular among the community, but for the love of god can Blizzard stop shoving it down everyone’s throats and pushing it so hard? We have had constant housing events sponsored by Blizzard that are streamed, there’s even another one going on right now called Azeroth Interiors.

They partnered up with Pinterest to get an in game camera that can publish snaps for WoW housing. They even added WoW housing on Zillow for crying out loud. Also, when they did state of Azeroth and all their promotional videos, about 85% of them were about housing. We just had a twitch drop that got a plushie for housing and now with the support a streamer thing coming up it’s more housing plushies!

They are pushing housing so hard it’s crazy at this point. As I said, I get that people love it but it seems very excessive. What are your thoughts about Blizzard highlighting housing so much and basically throwing all the other features off to the side in terms of marketing?

It’s all they got, man. What, do you think they are going to advertise their exciting, 4 button class, tab target gameplay? Come on…

You do know the new expansion comes out in a week right? Eh probably not I don’t think you play the game

All the other features are just the standard things that everyone knows is coming with an expansion.

That’s not a complaint, those are things I play for and I’m excited for Midnight

yeah i agree they should stop focusing on things that are very popular, and instead do things very few people like

Yea they’re pushing it hard, was kinda funny in the State of Azeroth how they kept bringing it up and glazing over it.

Ah, action combat WoW would be the dream.

That’s what terrifies me.

I hope they aren’t banking on housing carrying everything, because I play WoW for the combat and story.

I already play Minecraft on a server with friends- WoW housing will never, ever, hold a candle to that lol. The game was literally designed, from its foundation, for building. And we have massive projects already done.

But if they skimp out on the aspects I play WoW for, the future might be a bit grim.

All they need to do is make more stuff like the Undermine patch, to keep me around. That stuff was actually fun.

is it? i’m not seeing it. i’m guessing the engagement metrics are lower than they expected and they’re trying to pump them up.

I didn’t know Blizzard was shoving things down your throat. Is Blizzard in your house making your mouse finger click on articles and videos?

Is Blizzard in the house with you right now?!

The only other new feature to advertise is Prey. Not sure who they can team up with to cross promote that feature.

More zones, More dungeons, More raids, More delves, a new class spec? None of those are new things. Just more of the same.

No, you will take your cash cow content and let it be milked, sir.

They are going to make insane money off housing.

Combat I can understand but story? Story in this game has been trash since, well, forever lol.

Now the combat is trash too so that’s fun.

Well, I guess we all know it’s trash, but there’s still a few characters I am curious about.

Like Vol’jin, whatever the hell they might do with him when he comes back.

Sargeras, Illidan, and a few others.

Well when you having nothing else, you kinda have to work with what you have

Just dropping by to say I love your name, and I’m stealing it for my firstborn. Lol

I hope your weekend is amazing.

They actually are.

They are betting players will spend real money to buy fomo items for their housing.

It is more like selling to the one aspect of community who has the money but not the time to play the game.

They can’t sell weapons and gear because then it will be blatant p2w.

So they are trying to see how they can compete with Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 ran a train on the skin simulator. So wow devs need to now show profit.

I’m happy for those who wanted housing. But Holy Priest changes really infuriates me so I’m finding it hard to care about it
