Stop using Humans as the base for making new content!

Seriously, we see it in mounts, armor, weapons, etc.

Look at the Dreadwings from Draenor! A planet in Warcraft with no humans! The mount should be sized to fit ORCS AND DRAENEI! But what we see is the seat is too small, and the hooks go right into the backs and necks of Orc and Draenei alike! This could be fixed by resizing the mount so the seat doesn’t put the hooks in the backs of non-humans!

We see in model viewers how every set since WoD was designed to fit a human first, and the rest of the races as an afterthought! IT’S STUPID!

Instead of using humans as the base for literally EVERYTHING, test it with Orcs with the upright posture! If it works for the upright Orc, it’ll work for a human!

Mounts, armor textures, helmets, etc, model it to fit an Orc first, then check if it’ll work on a human! Still gets under my skin that I can’t mount up on certain mounts from WoD or other expansions without clipping into my characters! I can’t even play an undead character without the hooks of the Dreadwing stabbing me in the back!

Gilnean heritage armor looks better on their Human form than the Worgen form. Clips like hell on the Worgen version too.

I’m not sure who’s holding a gun to their head and making them design armor on a model that won’t use it but God bless em they do it anyway.

It’s easy to begin starting a model for a helm or extra parts of an armor on humans because they’re the simplest race in game. Can you blame them?

Let’s go to more basics.

Stop making every race bow down to human moral code.

Each race should have their own version of honor.

Yes. Yes we can. Alot of armor looks like worgen dook on every other race.

Humans wish they were as awesome looking in their armor as belfs are

Gear, especially, should be designed for larger races and scaled down. It’s far easier to scale down a texture than to stretch it, which just results in a godawful pixelated mess.

admittedly i wouldn’t mind seeing some taller horses, they just don’t feel like horses.

Roll a human. We’re the best anyways.

So what you’re saying is that you want to be honorless and do evil things and still maintain that you’re honorable by your own personal standards of honor?

Honor to elves = who can eat the most mana.
Damn junkies.

Pretty much. I’m done apologizing for siphoning a Naaru. Nobody had our backs when push came to shove, so we did what we had to do. :muscle:

Yes, but whats considered evil for you isn’t considered evil for me. And at the same time, the things you do which might sound honorable to you can seem evil to me.

different races, different cultures.

But blizzard forces the Human culture and version of honor down every races throats, and if a race/character doesn’t respect that code of morality, they are branded as evil and become loot pinatas.

TL;DR: There is zero diversity in WoW, everyone is just a Human with a different look.

And whats wrong with that?

I believe they use humans as a base for armour creation because they are a middle ground. Size wise they are right in the middle of all the races so it’s easy to scale up and down from them.

Maybe if you didnt leave the Alliance huffing and puffing that the Alliance was the reason elven forest burned(when in fact Quel’thalas wouldnt even be standing without the Alliance) other might have helped you.

Humans will eventually use the light and commit a mass genocide wiping out all the other races.

My Potential knows no bounds!

I like the Stormwind human aesthetics, but at the same time yes, I’m sick of every Alliance mount being a horse or gryphon while all the Horde reps give something very different.

It’s starting to look like MoP shrines again where they were given a month to design them both and spent 25 days of that month on the Horde one first.
