Of course, they should tune the covenants. But covenants shouldn’t have had any player power tied to them to begein with!
man this is one of the stupidest things i’ve ever read. those to things you listed are NOT correct interperetations. Nobody is upset that they CAN change covenants, they’re upset that they feel they NEED to if they want to stay on top of their game.

First, people wanted to be able to play covenants without them impacting their character power.
Second, now that blizzard INSISTS that it impact your character power, they are flipping switches left and right that make your choice better or worse depending on the patch… WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE DIDN’T WANT THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

The more tunings the better.
The more often people feel “forced” to switch, the louder I laugh.
The majority of players are under the impression that their BIS covenant will somehow make them a good player. It does not. Skill makes you a good player. Not an extra ability on the bar.
Just because WoW head says something, doesn’t mean you need to follow. The only exception. perhaps, if you are Mythic raider and really are only doing M15’s and higher aiming for 1.8k IO

I just got kicked on my Venthyr DK for not being a Necrolord for a ToP +14.
Jokes on them, I ran it with another group and she pumps like crazy!
