First of all it takes 3 not 2 people to do a kick so clearly that dps wasnt kicked or they where just afk/left second if you full pull like that in M+ everyone else will rather kick you or just leave thats completely unacceptable in M+ where one group can wipe you if you team isnt decently kitted and last shut up and take a free carry if the tank is able to tank all that and dish out enough dps to kill it then by apl means you are unneeded in that dungeon so sit back and relax do what you can to keep up and just chill its a free carry for experience
Orange Maizou cool Maizou
Runes only coming from leveling dungeons is why you get this.
But from the perspective of people leveling alts, which considering you’re calling them “Leveling dungeons” I would guess is a pretty prevalent perspective, the faster the better. The only problem is other than working on your AoE rotation it’s not a good experience for learning your spec or the dungeon.
It’s just a different style of game. Run with the tank and don’t start attacking until the tank stops. It’s actually pretty simple once you understand that and if you’re leveling an alt it’s very effective means to an end.
You can have long waits and groups of all inexperienced players slogging it out or, shorter waits with over geared tanks and healers that YOLO through the dungeon. One’s good for learning, and one’s good for leveling and getting runes.
So then by this logic, if I am a tank and want to take the dungeon at a slower pace, the group needs to deal with it and not pull for me.
Had a tank in a heroic who wouldn’t quit over-pulling everything. One of the DPS immediately dipped because of it and that tank even had some not so nice words for that guy.
Eventually after pulling almost everything up to and including the last boss, we all died, and he was kicked. Everyone voted to do it because it happened before I could even respond. We got a new tank and finished just fine.
There’s “setting the pace” and then there’s just being a . . . jerk. This guy based on his comments alone was definitely the latter.
Unfortunately you are going up against a veteran player base that for the last 6+ years has been conditioned (through game design) that speed is all that matters.
We cant blame the pvp community can we, its a M+ mentality to run dungeons like this because of the timer, its poison.
So true, bro. Damn M+ mentality making WotLK dungeons gogogogogo from over a decade ago. I woke up with a sore back this morning because of M+, I hate it.
My friends did this to me in a Dragonflight dungeon and it caused me to lag to no end lol
I 100% agree with the OP but this is the funniest response I’ve ever seen lmao
I agree with you. I wish they’d put NPCs to run dungeons with you. I’d never touch dungeon finder again.
I WAS chain pulling mobs in dps gear/spec in tbc… specifically magister’s terrace too when it came out. You need to understand that magister’s terrace came after a long lul of content and it was not uncommon to have 10-20 guilds on the server that were full clearing BT and Hyjal by the time it came out. Everyone who was anyone had full t6.
I feel its blizzard’s fault. The way they are designing the dungeons kinda encourages this kind of behavior
Sure, after they tried to design actually challenging dungeons in Cata and people cried about it because they couldn’t log in and get gear. They had to actually do something for once.
imagine wanting to go slow in a dungeon ![]()
man you can’t pull every mob in m+ to the boss, leveling dungeons are nothing like m+
They are more like ff14 dungeons where it’s normal to pull wall to wall
My last LFG dungeon run we kicked the person pulling for the tank.
I laughed at that.
You know how you fix this? They remove the rewards for Call to Arms for tanks in the finder. The cost of fixing this is a long long long long DPS que timer.
Tanks aren’t going to change. We got screamed at for years for not going fast enough to suit the dps who would run ahead and pull mobs. You all are just reaping what you sowed since M+ was put in the game.
I mean, I have better things to do with my time than worry about you dying. I’m going to pull as fast I can without dying. If you die, well, that’s not my problem. Probably didn’t need your dps anyways. Plus, all of the good dps classes have enough self healing and survivability for any of the dungeons. Sounds like this is a case of you more than the tank. Be better and die less imo.
This is exactly how it SHOULD work, however you have a bunch of trash mongers that think dps or heals set the pull pace then get pissed when they die.
