Their current approach means the “where’s my content” posts are guaranteed to show up just as early as the alternative. Probably faster.

Servers came up like 2 hours ago and we are already getting “where’s my content” posts. We’re in one.

It was fine time gating it when it originally released but why time gate it now when you tell us we can run it as many times as we want.

Let us grind this out in a week if we want to. Zero reason to time gate old content that is rereleased.

Yeah. I’ve put up with all the time gating for a long time now and I think this is the first time it has genuinely irked me. lol

Anyone who knows me in the forums knows i criticize blizzard too much to be a defender. Lame attempt at trolling though. I give you a 0/10.

let those who want to speed threw it speed threw those who want to go slow go slow, becasue people want to go SLOW those of us who want tp speed speed should be allowed too

Here is a idea, Allow a option new content, Speedy or time gate, pick wisely once you pick your locked to that section phase for the whole expansion and will ONLY see people who picked the same game play as you did. meaning players who picked speed will never see people who want time gated content, and time gated wont ever see speedy people.

Even if you do take all the gates off. The Visions will take a long while to complete everything for somebody that plays casually. I see you have to grind the masks too. Lots of things take plenty of time.

What would you rather have? 15 minutes of content every week for a month but thats it or 1 hour of content a month that you can do all of if you wanted to?

At the end of the day you’re only getting an hour whether you timegate it or not.

You’re dealing with microsoft now. If you thought they flogged it in the past just get ready.

So go do something else’ lol you shouldn’t live in a video game 24/7

Yet here you are defending them making the choice to add a timegate to something already timegated. Interesting isn’t it?

Time gating = Longer subscriptions. This is one of their income streams. :man_shrugging:t2:

If you take a steak and cut it into pieces, giving me one bite a week, I’m not going to look back 2 months from now and think “man, that was a good steak I had over 6 weeks.” I’m going to be disappointed as hell.

But if I get that steak in full, yeah, I may finish it in one sitting, but it may very well be a steak I think about in a few months, about how good it was.

That’s the point. If they make you take a month to finish the content, that forces you to pay for the additional month to see it complete.
