The vile, incessant, aggressive, borderline obscene yawning in Dorn makes me want to quit the game. I’m not joking, it puts hate in my heart and makes me wish bad things on whoever thought it was a good idea to implement that. I mean, wtf would you make your npcs sound like they’re in the boringest place on earth??? If there is an addon anyone knows of that kills that please let me know because I hate muting the sound, and when I forget to when I hearth to dorn it just kills all my motivation and makes me want to alt-f4.

As someone with misophonia. I get it if certain audio is ticking you off.
I just go chill elsewhere and avoid the trigger sounds.
i agree that its annoying, but its not something to quit the game over. besides, how much time do you realistically spend inside the inn?

Someones whole voice? Nah. Certain mouth sounds like slurping or mouth chewing? Definitely.

I agree with you OP. I suffer from misophonia. Some noises cause me to have extreme anxiety, anger to the point of punching holes in walls, and pressure in my chest that feels like I’m going to cave in. There are some noises that used to cause me to stay inside my home for days at a time. It was even so bad that I couldn’t work for a few years and had to live on disability. I had to seek help to learn to deal with it. Today I am able to control it but there are still some sounds that trigger it, like dogs barking or a whistle.
If it’s triggering to you then you should avoid the noises, use the above listed fix, or just turn your volume off. Your mental health is important.

The yawn doesn’t bother me at all. There’s an Earthen that screams like he just lost his mind near the AH. idk where it comes from, but it sounds like he just walks in the AH, screams, and leaves.

Altho I will say the vtubers that try a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle too hard to sound like young children? That kinda voice bugs me. I know that’s not all vtubers. Some are just working for a specific market I want nothing to do with.
This is the second thread I’ve seen on this topic. Never noticed it myself, but I always have music blasting over the game sound. I gotta check it out for myself
