Stop removing portals

Exactly.
Play ESO for a week.
I can go anywhere. Multiple wayshrine portals in EVERY zone.
I dont even need a hearth stone. Just pull up my map and I can portal to any wayshrine I can see on my map anywhere in the game.

Blizzard is LYING.
Having fewer portals DOESNT make the world feel bigger any more than riding on cart and buggy did. It makes OUR world SMALLER.

which is the EXACT objective of this portal removal.
OUR world is to be SW, Org and BFA. THAT is the intent of removing the portals. To keep us corralled in content they want to keep us in. To make it obscenely irritating to get to old content. Waste our time so we dont want to bother.
And then attack our intelligence by claiming it was all for our own good.

I went through the MOP portal the other day ,to find the beginning zone was there waiting for me. I’m to presume that I 120 is a beginner again? Does Blizzard think this is a great idea? It maybe a good idea for person beginning ,but is this a suggestion that flight would benot so important since it is near to FP.

Didnt they add something you can farm to Throne of Thunder? A pet or something?
I heard that they did, so having the portal on the OPPOSITE END of the land mass from the ToT raid makes perfect sense…IF theyre trying to waste our time and drag out their ‘played’ numbers to impress investors who are likely read to bail on this pathetic joke of a company.

They were going to close it as fast as it opened and they know it.
I wouldnt be surprised if they delete my posts calling them on closing it down.

This makes no sense.

The closing is automated. Its Sunday. Its well known that on Sunday the forums receive the barest minimum of moderation (if any at all).

You realize that the thread doesn’t have to be open to flag things? And it probably just takes a running total of how many flags where placed in the last hour…two hours…24 hours…etc?

This what i was concerned the removal of portals and placing those in those areas which now have access to flight points means lated they might think of removing flight all together.

They aren’t going to remove flight all together. That makes no sense at all, and the portal moving, whatever, doesn’t lead to that. At all.

It did close in 3 minutes,if it were automated there was nothing there to cause it to close.

What if people flagged posts while it was still locked? (Which is possible. Thread does not have to be open to flag/like posts)

And the automated system only looks at how many posts were flagged in the last 2 hours?

Based on what? Are there a lot of threads being unlocked due to a mass of flags, that get unlocked?

Threads with a lot of posts, have a higher chance of being shut down due to total flag numbers. I am not saying I agree with it. The flagging system lends itself to abuse. But its 100x more plausible than the scenario yall are coming up with.

If this was about the mods or whatever, locking it intentionally…then why leave this thread open? Or any other thread about portals?

It could be ,only thing I see is 3 minutes it was locked beyond that It doesn’t make sense.
But back to the subject it was just a observation that the portals were by or near FPs and I had a concern about it because of the removal of portals.

Being locked has nothing to do with the thread getting flags.

What doesn’t make sense? Specifically. It received flags (for whatever reason. legit or not). It was locked. Its pretty simple.

Why does a portal room and removing portals make you feel they are going to remove flight all together? I feel 100% confident that isn’t happening.

Being locked or unlocked has nothing to do with the thread getting flags…which is what caused it to be locked again.

You could find a thread no one has posted a new reply in months, and get it locked for 24 hours with enough flagging.
