Theres a difference between trying to straegize based on observations from previous rounds (like “do more dam”, or “make sure to use a defensive before dying”), and another to be plain toxic/rude.
Imagine not realising Ice Block is one of the few defensives still on the GCD then complaining he didn’t Block when he just took half his remaining health in half a second.
That happens to me too.
We all agree on a kill target during the prep time.
Gates open and then it’s like we never had a discussion.
One DPS might be hitting the kill target. The other DPS hits the enemy I’m cloning.
I ask for both healers home address after the lobby and send them flowers and chocolates.
Yea DPS switch targets too often much to their detriment. Like hunter is 20% and the holy priest lifeswaps, but thing with holy priests is that they aren’t easy to kill. But people still do it every time and lose the match. Just stay on the hunter and let me clone the priest
I will NOT eat ze silithids
I WILL yell at my healer
Why are you not stopping spamming damaging abilities and prepare your defensive at 50% health when YOU KNOW your big defensive is on the GCD?
I like how this turned into a solo-shuffle-rage-and-dumb-mistakes thread
Seinfield eh? Nice.
Because you can’t always do that, sometimes damage comes suddenly due to rng procs like with Enhance Shamans.
Exactly!!! Raging at others solves nothing. I’m curious what the positive is in it. It does nothing for others and makes you play even worse. Its a scientific fact that anger creates poor decision making and other effects. Most of the issue with PvP i would venture to say is the playerbase. The rest can be worked on by blizz but it’s up to the players to fix themselves.
I would love to get into pvp, but with the way players are concerning various things within pvp, no thanks. Now if i make mistakes then come to me in a msg or something and help me understand what i could have done better. You might just see more people wanting to queue when they’re treating like humans and not a punching bag.
Yeah people like you are what got me banned if you wanna pick fights do it irl.
The irony is healers are generally better players than DPS and Tanks. It requires a lot more skill. So I don’t generally care what the fotm dps rages about.
not true most healers get carried by dps
Not by 49% WL Windwalkers, though. Nice necro.
My experience getting raged at as a healer is the player usually doesn’t belong at the rating they are at and when they lose the only explanation that makes sense to them is it was the healers fault. Usually by the end of the 6 rounds they are exposed as the weakest player in the lobby
The pressure on that 4th round when a healer and a dps are both 0-3.
The moment of truth…
Also a frequent moment when someone deserts the game.
Not a chance. DPS can make multiple mistakes in a match and still have a chance to win. Healers don’t have that luxury.
It gets frustrating healing the solo queue because healers mostly just keep people alive and have small impact on landing kills. This means you can keep your team alive for 5 mins then make a single mistake and lose. Dps on the other hand when played well can win a match very quick with a string of nice offensive plays, and not get severely punished for mistakes because their healers can be there to bail them out. This seems to give people who only dps an inflated ego. The rating system is definitely skewed to provide higher ratings to dps rather than healers by the nature of the design.
A lot of healers seem to think this then go into a game and get 0-6’d by a healer who is positioning better, using cds better, going for cc at more vital times and leave that lobby believing it was entirely out of their hands.
