i can’t get an upgrade for the life of me, it’s JUST RNG FOR a random epic. i remember epics used to drop from a win IN RANDOM bgs now it’s stupid blues that i don’t need. fix it =/

Gotta get in those Arenas and RBG’s man. It’s just like PvE with M+.

Would be nice if they put people with higher ilvls together exclusively, and gave us better gear based on that.

don’t think of it as wasted gear, think of it as the resources you get from the scrapper that also happen to be gear just in the event that you need it.

Exactly this. Sometimes it may be an upgrade, but most times it’s the equivalent of scrappable dungeon gear. That’s always good to have, even if you only get it to throw on the AH.

You made me laugh Sthis. You mentioned chasing peeps around poles in arena. That is one of the many reasons I quit arena years ago. Too many 45 minute games with Druid or shaman pole dancing whole time

Casual content drops casual gear. Normal dungeons, heroic dungeons, unrated PVP. Gotta play big to win big.

Conquest from dailies and the weekly chest are your methods of gear progression if you only participate in casual content. PvP-wise, anyway. If you’re willing to spend minimal time killing world boses and doing the occasional warfront, you’ll gear up even faster.

As others have said, participate in more difficult content if you have an itch for bigger payouts than that. If you hate arena (I do too), perhaps find yourself a guild or community that runs RBGs.

Did you do the Tools of the Trade enchanting wand thing? You get more mats, sometimes you even get purple shards from blue trash. Hands down the way to go, the (s)crapper is for chumps.

No, I haven’t bothered leveling my professions. Too lazy to play that part of the game.
