Again, this withdrawal was set up by Trump. He negotiated the terms with the Taliban, he pressured Pakistan to get 5000 Taliban fighters out of Pakistan prisons, including the man who will now lead Afghanistan.
Joe Biden inherited a withdrawal deal that was a complete shambles, as there was not enough time to pull everyone out properly. Keep in mind that the withdrawal date that Trump agreed to was in May. That was the deadline, and the Taliban made it very clear that there would be no renegotiation on that date, if the US were not out by May the fighting would resume, and it did.
Trump had a year to withdraw all the civilians and military forces out of Afghanistan. He chose to pull 15,000 soldiers out, doing nothing for the civilians, then passed the buck to Joe who essentially had 2 months to get everything done before the deadline. That was never going to happen and here we are.

Not gonna lie, i did left shadowlands for a month and a half because it wasn’t sucking me in, but atfer coming back and playing though with a different mindset, i don’t know, i seem to haveing a bit of a better time with it then last time just casually going about in WoW.

Afghanistan was a complete cluster that we should have been out of back in the Obama administration. We went in to retaliate against the people who orchestrated 9/11… so why were we there for another decade?

Obama & Joe have been screwing countries for years. They pulled out of Iraq and Isis took over the country and Trump had to help them take it back. They did nothing when Russia walked into the Crimea. They created the Syrian refugee crisis which flooded people into Europe. You remember Libya… Arab Spring? Now Joe bumbled Afghanistan.

I will give you some credit, because you’re right that Obama and Biden were responsible for a lot of horrible crap in the Middle East when Obama was President. But that has no bearing on Trump’s failure in Afghanistan.

Then they claim they’re a very tolerant, empathetic and compassionate people. Woooosh.
Why are we even still fighting in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, etc.? Why do we keep feeding them our troops’ lives, buttloads of money / resources, constant media attention, etc. only to have all of that work lost because those countries are too unstable?
We have enough issues in the US to deal with to continue to try to be the world’s police and force other countries to adopt our ideals.
Sorry, but I voted for Obama in 2008 for “change” after war mongering Bush, and literally got more pissed off over his 8 years as we turned into the world police and Obama meddled into every country. Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, etc… unauthorized drone programs in multiple countries.
Nobody attempted anything while Trump was in office. We fought Isis out of Iraq and Syria. The world was actually relatively peaceful.
Then Joe gets in and not even a year he screws up Afghanistan… 20 years out the window. Now the poor people have to live with the Taliban again. All because he wouldn’t put 24/7 combat air patrols of B-52s and gunships in the air after the troops pulled out as deterrence.
Nobody will take us seriously again. Russia and China will get more bold.
