You claimed you couldn’t level above 60 outside DF. That’s objectively wrong. That’s my point.
If you ask people how long it takes them to get to work they will say things like “I have a 30 minute commute”. What this actually means is “it takes me 45 minutes under ideal circumstances that never happen so it really takes me 80 minutes”.
That’s exactly what I hear when I see estimates like yours. First, I don’t think it’s true. Second, if it is true, it’s under ideal circumstances, like you’re levelling with a group of people who all know what they’re doing. There’s no queueing. No allowance for queue times. No allowance for anything to go wrong or even be a bit slow.
I know this because the math on dungeons from 70-80 in about 27, give or take. To do that in 3 hours you’re doing around 9 per hour, which is ~6.5 minutes each including zoning time. That’s just not realistic or likely without a fixed group Even then I’m not sure you can clear the 4 levelling dungeons in 6 minutes each. Maybe you can but that’s certainly not a normal or likely situation.
I’m not doing the dissected chat crap. I went from 70 to 80 in 10 hours of questing nonstop. I unlocked Pathfinder on 8/25 and Loremaster 5 days later. True, my experience is different, but does not invalidate it.
i have four whole entire zones for my alt army to level through, lol. I was thinking about your exact solution. when we finish the campaign, Chromie time should open.
A good idea. Or perhaps provide a button to click to make a zone match our level for mobs and quests. So if I want to level in Hillsbrad Foothills at 70, match Hillsbrad to level 70. Then if I want to go to Grizzly Hills (yay!) have that zone and its contents match my by now level 71 character, all with commensurate experience gains and rewards.
Open the path, make it a choice/option. Let WoW actually BE a world of gaming.
Ok, so like I said before, maybe if you didn’t have 64 alts, you could have more at max level.
Do you not understand how time works? You’re complaining about not having enough maxed out alts… so why not spend more time on maxing them out rather than rolling more. There’s a pretty simple solution to your issue…
Idk if I’d like Chromie Time opened up to level 80s. One of the best parts about it is that I’m in my own shard while leveling, away from geared level 80s messing stealing mobs and ganking me. I use CT to do things like the Darkmoon and Gurubashi arenas on my level 69s without worrying about organized level 80 guild groups.
You do realize you’re not being “forced” to level in that area you people have wine and complained about being “forced” to level in the current expansion but that’s not true for the last three maybe four expansions I have heard the same nonsense the same whining and bull crap from this community because y’all are acting like a bunch of entitled babies there’s nothing that says you can’t go to another zone or other content to level and they are planning on opening up chromie soon
I’ve never understood the desire or need to level so many alts. I can understand one of each class but after that why? If the game is so boring that leveling alts is all you do then maybe take am extended break and play other games.
What the hell is this? Logic? Good suggestions? Actual fixes for the problems in game? Zero toxicity? Am I in the right spot? I agree with this. This should absolutely be tied to the 25%buff to xp achieve and allow people to do any content. 10/10 no notes.
Timewalking dungeons are not available all the time. Darkmoon Faire buffs are not available all the time. For me, the tedium affects me most in having to do the same limited number of zones and the same limited number of quests over and over again.
Open the world up. Have a level match option in every zone in every part of the vast area of WoW. Make it a true world game so I can level wherever I like.
I tell you what, if this was a feature I’d be levelling alts again just for the fun of being able to quest in Grizzly Hills as a level 74 character, gaining experience, enjoying the environment and being suitably rewarded.
I’ve had it in the back of my mind for years, but I think it would be fun if they’d make WQs for legacy content. Xp, current xpac currency, gear, etc, but instead of killing elementals on Isle of Dorn, you’re collecting quillboar tusks for Mankrik’s vengeance or felboar steaks for the zeppelin crash site in Hellfire.
We get to re-visit old quests, legacy zones won’t be ghost towns, and it shouldn’t rob current xpac of players for group content.
