A lot of us post on alts to avoid exactly this sort of ad hominem attack.

You realize that said person is a troll and poopooing on others’ prog, right? I’m just doing the same thing they are doing.

They have a choice to not put their name on their hot takes if they want but people are going to look at their high elf whining, their posts in this thread, and lack of prog and pin them as someone whose gameplay is exclusively grinding goldshire rep on their cringe helf using a human avatar.

Personally if there’s nothing to heal I’m bored. Plus, why sit there twiddling your thumbs when you can speed up a run? I played a tree back in the day when popping out to access any DPS abilities carried a huge healing penalty. Even then we’d run dungeons in elf form once we were geared to do some damage and make the umpteenth tedious badge run go a little faster.

And that’s your prerogative. I have dozens of alts, if I want to DPS, I’ll switch to one of my many DPS toons. The DPS spells in healer kits prior to the forcing of several classes into being DPS healers were for leveling.

Back in the day I played a holy paladin and if my few hundred DPS made or broke the group, it’s a bad group.

I don’t really enjoy the gogogogogo speed run mentality that has taken over the game. I think it’s toxic and I’d be happy if they made an alternative to m+ that is challenging without the rush and gave equal rewards. And again, dumping all my mana to do 400 DPS wasn’t really going to speed up a run that much to begin with back in the day when everyone else was doing 4-6k DPS.
