Old flying should be dead. The handful of times I’ve had to go to old world zones and fly, it’s vile now.
It can be dead to you.

Obsolete systems have and should continue to be stripped out of the game.
Personally I’m very tired of Blizzard’s petulant punishing of players over flying. Their dummy spitting, rattle throwing fit over the player revolt in WoD has never abated, they just try different ways of torturing us.
So I’m not going to stop complaining. If I and many like me had done that back in WoD, Blizzard would have removed flying from the game. I will stop playing however, as that’s the only feedback they pay attention to.

Its okay, we understand. Some people just don’t have the skills to ride a actual dragon. Enjoy your slowby mount.

It’s faster. that’s about it.
You can’t think of anything? How about maintaining an altitude without dropoff. Infinite stamina. Ability to stop and hover mid air. A more user friendly experience for people with disabilities/motion sickness.
Just because you like one system doesn’t make it factually better. You’re grading on different criteria.

I do like Dragon flying, my only complaints are that I can’t hover and it’s a minor annoyance when farming and a big one when your “hopping” and you deplete your vigor when there’s multiple nodes and you need to get somewhere fast, and you just float towards ground lol. I don’t know how Blizzard will balance the two in the future, I think Dragon flying is here to stay and could actually remove normal flying, just make normal flying with DF mechanics without vigor and that’d be perfect imo
