Even I will admit, I’ve never seen anyone telling Blizz to just leave the PvP balancing alone and to let things evolve organically. I must never be on the forums at the right time or just wasn’t active when people said those things. But, almost everyone I know that PvPs has never wanted them to just leave something alone, they just want them to take a collective look at data and feedback and understand what exactly needs to be tuned and balanced.
There hasn’t been any of that recently which makes things feel like trash.
As for the OP…
I really don’t think them letting us spend time with our family while also still having a chance at things we want this season is that big of a deal? I think it’s actually sort of nice. While I already have AOTC and other things I wanted out of the way, its still nice to have an option in case I didn’t get those things just yet.
I think they were referring to the fact that blizz has usually always tried to balance things, even if it’s not balances we think are needed or are liked.
You’re also referring to S1 still in regards to balances…and this person is obviously stating that leaving the meta alone to organically evolve because we as a playerbase can figure out new broken things is a mistake.
Also, like I said… I’ve never seen anyone say to blizzard to blatantly ignore everything and not balance things just because their balancing is wrong. If anything I usually only always see that blizz just never knows how to balance and should really listen to player feedback.

But that is the point. They are listening to feedback. We asked them to not make meta changing nerfs or buffs midseason.
They aren’t ignoring it. They literally said they weren’t going to repeat the mistakes of s1 and would let it develop.
I agree they should do something. But I also have a feeling that if they did, some players would complain that they said they wouldnt…
And they clearly shouldn’t. There’s that old adage of “Be careful what you wish for.” If people got what they wanted, Blizzard needs to be the responsible one and say: “Yep, ya wrong, we should balance this because this is bad all around.” including for their esports scene, as Blizzcon proved. All time lowest views.
The only people who would say this are the first time glad destro warlocks who are too busy enjoying their free ride.

Yes. “Bears are everywhere.”
Of 5,009 tracked US 3v3 top players, 56 bears are listed.

Again never seen anyone ask for this. Whoever ‘we’ is must be speaking directly to Blizzard themselves because like I’ve said twice already, the only complaining about balancing and not balancing I see is that blizz refuses to balance things, and/or they can’t balance things correctly and that they should really listen to their playerbase.
They really haven’t been if there have been multiple people complaining this season alone to balance things in this season specifically. That’s not listening to feedback at that point, they are ignoring it.
And if you agree that they should do something then this conversation seems absolutely silly in my opinion . We’ve all admitted that they refuse to balance anything and that they should. People will complain about anything, there is no way for 100% of the world to be happy with one change, that’s impossible. So the whole complaining thing would be rather irrelevant. But it’s sorta saying something when a majority vs minority agree to something and still nothing is done .

Blizzard can’t tell what to do with actual numbers passes, and it sucks.
The problem is until this changes, many people are going to have at best lackluster gameplay experiences due to there being no balance internal to each spec, let alone an external balance between different classes and the spec’s.
When people go OMGZ I MUST HAS VULPERA NOOOOOOOOW. And are also, loud, rude, trolling fools, it really paints the sensible people looking forward to foxes in a really bad light.
Kinda get the hate on them if you look at it from that angle.
But, after saying all that. Anyone with half a brain can do the math and tell that the patch simply isnt ready yet. This is a laughably transparent attempt to save face.
There are zero companies that want to tell thier customers “it’s” not ready because its taking longer than they thought. Whatever the “it” may be.
You get it, not really that difficult to figure out.
