The physical card isn’t where the value is… it’s the digital item attached to the code on the card. Without that, the card isn’t worth much at all.
If the game were to shut down tomorrow, the code on that card would be worth nothing.

it only benefits the ppl who are trying to profit off the TCG cards, extreme minorities, the majority of the player base deserves to have all the mounts
“Deserves” LMAO. What’s going on with this degree of entitlement?
This elitism in wow needs to be buried.
meaning what the paying players want >>> what the greedy TGC sellers want
Then how you will buy your rushes?
Oh no, the greedy, the horror! How dare people profiting and gambling with cosmetic items that doesn’t do anything to the game.
But pay to win for rushes is allowed. Such is the morality on this forum.
pay to win cosmetics are still pay to win cuz everyone and their mom knows ppl want to look cool in the video games, that is why I feel disgusted when looking at D4
Then everything that could be bought on this game should have the same treatment. For the sake of the integrity of the game.
This includes boosting. That honestly Blizzard should start banning, regardless of selling or buying.
Back in the good old days, Bliz banned players for much less.
I believe actions have been taken, increasing amounts
And still, I don’t see people here arguing about that.
Counterpoint:
Give us more TCG mounts and make sure they are trading post mounts that repeat at least once in the first year after they are introduced.
Bro, it’s a video game. This isn’t real life. Your virtual items aren’t real.
Everything to do with WoW belongs to Blizzard, they can do what they want.
People in the real world have investments that turn into a turd. So why are you so angry that your virtual investment faces the same kind of devaluation?
Some folks take video games way too seriously. It’s supposed to be fun, not a second job.
That’s my point. The physical card has value because of the rarity of the in-game mount. Make it a replica. Make all involved happy.
Good Luck all, Last post for me!!
You are preaching to the choir. As I said, I don’t care about pixels and I have never complained about people having them. I have Tyrael’s Charger from 2011, I don’t care that it was on the trading post last year, it’s a cool mount (and now I don’t have to stop and explain where I got it from every time I am in town with it lol.)
The color change opinion is just in sympathy for those that for example got a reward for doing a class quest that took a lot of knowledge about your class to accomplish.
Do I think anyone should be able to buy those? No, I can sympathize with the ones who did the in-game work at the time that it was hard. (I would have no issue with bringing back a new challenge to get the same mount)
Do I think a color change on the Trading Post is okay? Absolutely.
Do I think a trading card that has nothing to do with playing the game should be protected? Absolutely not.
Ultimately it doesn’t matter what any of us thinks…
We can post what Blizzard “should” do till we turn blue… They’ll do what they want and will do it regardless if we like it or not… that’s the fact.
Sure. But feedback is important after all. Regardless of what people think I’m sure they listen despite of how slow they are.
Remember when flying was removed? Took they a lot of backlash to create pathfinder, and then to make it easier to FINALLY give flying back in a better shape.
I think they should bring back everything that was only available from an outside source and make it available from an in-game source because nothing in the game should only be available from an outside source in the first place.
Just My Opinon!
I would agree if they couldn’t be sold on the AH to begin with.
Also, Blizzcon was unavailable for a VAST part of the playerbase. And there’s mounts you get playing other games from Blizzard, I would call this an “outside source” also.
Either we do the same treatment for all those things or just let things be what they always was and give recolors instead.
I have both the Hearthsteed mount and the Fiery Hearthsteed mount, in fact my initial reason for returning to WoW this year after a two year absence was specifically to get the second mount, and, yes, I agree they should also be available in-game, along with Blizzcon mounts, Recruit-A-Freind mounts, Game Pass mounts, ect because none of those could be earned from an in-game source and everything in the game should have or have had an in-game source.
Just My Opinion!
the funny thing is most TCG mounts these people own were duped versions mass-produced in WoD.
and then they want to act like this.
ironic, no?
