Sounds like youāre going purely off of your own personal experience, maybe your impulse is bad? Iāve purchased game, clothes and many other things without researchā¦ itās turned out well for me most of the time. Iām not saying youāre wrong for looking into somethingā¦ I usually with games need to see some gameplay.

You know how many times i have purchased something i did not use? Zero. Not āMost of the time it turns out wellā It ALWAYS turns out well. I simply donāt take chances on anything. I make sure i do enough research to where i donāt have buyers regret.
Let him vent, thatās the best thing he can do in his situation. The sooner he gets tired of this, the faster he will function normal again.

I feel if you were connected to a polygraph machineā¦ itād be going insane if you said that aloud. You donāt truly know the scope of a game until you play itā¦ pretending you can just research it every time to find success is delusion or a complete lie.
You do know those things are not even deemed reliable right? Anyways, I know well enough to know the scope of ANY game before i play it, because i do enough RESEARCH on it before hand, Also it helps to know the Genre you like as well.

Yet you still think you have to play a game to get the scope of it. You do know āResearchā includes video of the game, right? It however does not just mean āVideoā of the game ALONE.
You can view all the videos and do all the research you want, you still arenāt going to get the full scope of the game until you actually play it and who says youāve done well in your research?

Whatever, i actually know what kind of game i like, i donāt need to play a game before i know for sure. Sorry your fragile little ego got hurt, because you got burned on games that you did not research enough to know you would not have liked it.
Sure thing bud, I wasnāt a souls gamer prior to my impulse purchase of Elden Ringā¦ but look at me now, got well over 1k hours in DS1,2,3 and ERā¦ and working on Lies of P, but impulse is bad, right?

when did i say impulse was bad? I just said you were an impulsive buyer and then implied you got āburnedā on games you would have known if you liked it you did research. Also Souls like are great, but parry focused ones like Skerio and Lies of P are awful. Guess i can also add āStar wars Survivorā to the list since it is a āsouls likeā Star wars game.
