The current game isn’t very conducive to this kind of behavior… They design around systems instead of trying to make it a living breathing world… I mean look at the lazy peons in the vanilla game in durotar. There is also a quest for them but if you stop and smell the roses, they have a few unique sayings every time you click on them. Stuff that lazy peons would say… There’s all kinds of similar things in the original game. Sadly the current game doesn’t encourage that type of exploration. I can’t even travel around without being bothered by some world quest popping up… I just wanna go around and explore but there’s always something goin on, the same thing that was going on the other day, lol, and a notification pops up about some world quest that I already did 1000 times, to remind me that the same thing is going on again. … no thanks. I agree with OP’s sentiment, but I find it hard to log in lately, even though I want to.

To be honest Sylvanas was really trying to flea bomb the place . Not her fault Tyrande invited Nomi for a cooking demonstration .
Time waits for no man,I can stop or pause but it is still ticking away in the back ground .This game has an beginning we know about when we start and an end when we get there,yet it isn’t about that at all.
It is your time that is important for each has its own different thread of life,i may never reach that goal but I 'm going to try.

Yeah, I was going to try to run an alt through Threads of Fate because I thought maybe it would get me a head start on something, like the campaign or Anima gathering. But, then a lot of people told me what the experience was like and I thought to myself that is actually worse than running the story over and over.
There’s literally nothing (for me…I speak only for myself) worth stopping to smell the roses for. There used to be…I was never a rusher. But, this expansion? nope.
I don’t think I’ve ever said this to anyone on these forums but I just have to say this now…you’re a moron if you think WoW is a virtual world you live in. Go back to “Second Life” to cyber with people and go shopping with your virtual girlfriend in your virtual town.
