I was thinking about that, in a classic+ type game we should be able to hide all armor except for pants at the very least.

So you should be handed max level characters for doing what? Standing around in the game?
That’s not an mmorpg. Sounds like you would be better off playing a moba.
Wow isn’t even a hard grind. It was literally designed for casual players and to be accessible by the masses.
I’m sorry you find that difficult, mmorpg’s just might not be for you.

Try reading some more. Retail sucks, I have no interest in bloodelves, whizbangs, panda bears and random silly content that retail has. Vanilla is where WoW had the most personality and story, BC was the beginning of what retail is.

They’ll make whatever for whoever is playing and paying.

Classic+ is WoW 2. It would be a separate game if it’s ever made. The path for Classic is already defined. Classic will stay at phase 6 as long as Blizzard provides support for the servers with the possibility of the occasional fresh server starting at phase 1. We will probably get separate BC and WotLK servers as well.

That’s it. Anything else is beyond the scope of Classic, shouldn’t happen and won’t happen. I suppose maybe they’d continue to Cataclysm but I highly doubt it.

I agree, I was not happy about Horde getting Blood Elves and Paladins at the time and I’m still not a fan of it. The Horde really deviated from their core identity after that.

I read your whole post, it was hostile. I apologize for not responding with sunshine and flowers.

Retail is garbage yes, there’s no reason to turn classic into garbage too. You guys already got some of your QOL changes anyway and are using it for your agendas as it is. Maybe ask the retail devs to stop making a poopy game and it won’t be. The devs literally said they’d be happy to make classic for the tens, you probably missed that.

Who gets to pick the changes? You? Me? Rando Joe? Why are your pet changes or not changes more important than mine or some other internet rando?

There’s even complaints in this thread alone that the game is too grindy and needlessly hard. Maybe that person should get their pet changes

Just shooting an idea here, but what about having dungeons with puzzles? And XP gained by the group AFTER completion of the dungeon? Grinding mobs over and over and over is crazy. They can come up with another way. That’s my point. The game is poorly made in my opinion.

I quit because of it, it made zero sense for them to really be a playable race when there’s not supposed to be many. Horde wasn’t Horde after that. Not to mention Paladins had been asking for buffs for years and didn’t get them until they took what made Alliance/horde different and gave them to each other.

Man it was awful.

No you didn’t read anything. Nobody wants to deal with you #nochangers constantly flaming everyone and screeching about your purist game that doesn’t exist even now. If the WoW devs listen to someone like me, fine, it’s how we got Classic to begin with but I don’t think Blizzard nor the community really had a full on discussion about what would be awesome for it.

Again, the slippery slope nonsense. BC was the beginning of the end and that was an entire game full of content and nonsense that wasn’t needed. It wasn’t a few changes here or there.

People are asking for Classic+ servers, people like you would get to keep your precious “pure” version of the game. Yet that’s not satisfactory for the lot for some reason.

I would like some changes. But I realize mine are no more important than the person who wants puzzle dungeons, and pointless to whine about.

It’s best to leave it as it is.

Hear hear!!! Leave that Classic+ in a dumpster fire alongside retail. Expansions are the ONLY way forward :sunglasses:

We could tell you Classic+ people the same damn thing…every other day I see a new Classic+ thread…this is the FIRST one I have seen made by someone who is against it. Hyperbole much?

The content CLASSIC-WOW provides is “easy and boring” on the end game. They should add heroiic/mythic difficulties and expansions on the future

Obviously respecting the lv 60, respecting the classes balance without changes on that.

The Classic time capule? Yes. Classic+ /Wow 2? No. The new game should have the classic style of gameplay, maybe even updated graphics, they just have to be VERY careful about QoL changes so that it doesn’t end up like retail.

IMO that’s what they should have called cata and made it a separate game and left WotLK where it was.

Classic+ would never happen, because if they were to go to all that effort it would be to use a completely new platform. Wow’s engine is nearly 20 years old and there certain things that just cannot be done on it. So if there was to be a Classic+ it would be a new MMO.
