Many rolled it from the start.
Blizzard shouldn’t do a lot of things, like listen to the player base.
and many rerolled after noticing how many horde were on PvP servers?
A true Faction based PvP game would not allow factions to get as unbalanced as these servers have gotten. I get people want the TRUE CLASSIC EXPERIENCE but allowing one faction to have over double the population of the other and then releasing world pvp with a honor system is just garbage for everyone.
Alliance struggle to even breathe on the server and horde struggle to find someone to kill which results in all of the 10 v 1 pvp battles that are happening constantly.

How do you propose to prevent people from re-rolling? You can re-roll RIGHT NOW if you want on ANY server you want, instead of complaining.
Its not our fault the Allliance who rolled on Skeram took their first chance to bail on you and make life harder simply because they weren’t the majority faction they incorrectly assumed they would be.
But why not reroll to a diff pvp server?
Well tbh, this is wow… not exactly a “true” pvp game. More a fun, and super successful, one.
Guess what? There are pvp servers which have more Alliance as well. It happens. I’m sure there are Horde out there getting ganked left and right as well.

I don’t propose anyone other than BLIZZARD do anything… Like I said, Blizzard should not have allowed the factions to get as imbalanced as they currently are. In a game where PvP has such an important presence, they should not have allowed thing to get so screwed up.
Evem a 60 / 40 faction would have been okay compared to what some servers are experiencing.

The sad thing is this game is 15 years old and faction imbalance was a thing back then . We knew it was an issue thats why there were polls before classic even begun . I didn’t want to be horde but I also didn’t want to be farmed and camped . So I went horde.
Well that’s stupid. Even Horde get farmed on some servers. Part of playing a pvp server bud.
Granted, it was stupid of them, fully agree, and the FINALLY wised up on the 3rd wave and made it horde only (which I doubt many took). Its too late to re-cork the bottle at this point, so adapt or walk, its your choice.
Might help if your faction didn’t pick fights, prior to phase 2 I would leave 99% of you alone and only go out of my way to make trouble if someone decided to gank me.
As a business, it wasn’t. Servers, not factions, had long queue times. Not allowing some players control to move would have been dumb.
Literally the entire premise of pvp servers and people are now mad/sad/bad about it. WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?!

The queues on the realm in question here (Skeram, where he and I both reside), wasn’t that bad. Had they started with Horde Only it would be in a better state.
Yeah but Im oceania , there was only one pvp server at the start . Most Alliance bailed to the 2 newer servers . Now imbalances are around 80/20 and increasing as we totally crush who is left to the point it will be horde pve server soon

This was not a hard game by any means back in the day. Most entrenched mmo’ers thought wow was a sell out to the genre at the time because of how "easy mode " it was. LOL

Nah, I don’t think so, but new people join both sides every day I’m sure.
The first transfer session like 2 major alliance guilds bailed ASAP after an unconfirmed report of a 70/30 split was released in the first few weeks, its been downhill ever since.
Why would you stay on a server with such an imbalance? should’ve taken those free transfers and run as fast as you can .
Now you will have to pay $50 for transfer.
Doesn’t bother me at all. The only thing that makes my guild wanna transfer is the fact we have 3 super guilds who bogart all the world spawns, we sorta wanna go to a “dead server” so we can actually pick more than 1 Black Lotus a week.
Well, that kinda sucks because it wasn’t 70/30. Maybe now it is, blame those players. Eh it was 35/65, I guess close enough. But imo those guilds just made it worse. But at the same time, you can’t blame Blizzard for allowing players who asked for a transfer off realms with queues… either faction. Anyway, off to bed, have a GN!
PvP can be bullying but there isn’t a policy against the bullying created via PvP. It has to be like same-faction verbal harassment or something.
Imagine bringing your Marxist commie political stance in a video game. It is a war, just a badly managed war by Blizzard decisions.
On PvP servers it’s not harassment to camp a corpse or repeatedly kill a player.
You are allowed to bully people and be dix on PvP servers.
