Even when i hate my spec, i still play it. (insert Shadow Lands).
I say to myself, “it’ll get better” In this expacs case it finally did, in season 3. I loved my set bonuses and how those bonuses really smoothed out the rotation.
sadly, those things are being removed for DF.
Ive played this toon since vanilla, the only time i changed mains was to play another rogue of a different race. (now-a-days we can just pay to change that)
Ive tried many times to get in to various class alts. I just cant.
Any alt i level is simply to pick flowers and brew potions/flasks etc.
At this point though, if i end up hating my spec (again), i think ill just hang up my swords.
I tend to just stick to my main despite how “bad” they may be in stuff. Stubborn I suppose. Well, that was the case until I decided that my first main (Warrior) was going to retire so to speak after Shadowlands. The lad has seen enough and I figured it was time to move on to a new main.
I usually swapped between the same 4 classes in every expansion doing PvP, usually lock, rogue, DK, and priest. Depending on the expansion one character might have been my “main” but I usually played all 4. Since BFA though my “main” has been spriest, which is what I’ve usually done everything on. I will probably still main spriest in DF, though if PvP gearing is easy and fast and not tedious, I’ll probably level those other 3 classes and play them too.
Don’t really play the other classes at all though, aside from in Legion when templates meant you didn’t have to really gear alts or put much effort into them to play them in PvP. Played a lot more classes in unrated PvP then.
