He ate 112 year old rations and did not get sick.
He ate a 2018 Chinese ration, and did.
That’s the point. That 2018 ration was so bad, it was worse than a century old ration.

Well that is interesting, so much I’m not sure what to say.
He does all sort of stuff. I take entertaining and educational
I love Steve.

I dunno if it’s the unboxing aspect of his vids, or the fact that he will taste test nearly anything, or the fact that he seems like such a normal, down-to-earth dude that is just seriously passionate about what he does, but I really enjoy his content.
As for that 2018 ration that he got sick on… everyone is lamenting over how poorly the Chinese army treats their soldiers for giving them such disgusting food - but the “green meat” and such had to be a mistake in preservation or packaging. There is no way any human from any country would consider spoiled green meat as good nutrition for their soldiers.

It’s probably all just a youtube persona, but i do find it interesting and educational.
My dad is an army dude and growing up he would buy cases of this stuff because he liked it. Looking at the 1980s and 1990s MREs Steve shows brings back memories.
