Pretty clear - to incentivize people to queue other BGs, and hopefully discourage the 6min AVs

This doesn’t make the games take longer, just the overall grind for people ranking.

Any new playing going in is going to have the same experience with or without the change. It doesn’t make sense does it?

It doesn’t discourage them as they’re still the best honor/hour. It just means there will be more of them.

The games just might take 8mins now for max honor.

Honestly you could even double AB/WSG marks from what they are now and av will still be viable hph

The only thing that has changed is people have to play more games the same way they already have been.

Did they feel people were hitting 500k honor too fast from AVs? It’s still a solid 30-50 hours of gameplay pre nerf.

I agree - buffing the NPCs would have been the better play in that case.

Edit - though they’ll need to constantly tweak the system as the population fluctuate which is a big downside of this system. 500k when there’s a ton of players playing is whatever. 500k when it goes down and there’s queues etc is something else (I will argue that’s the advantage of the previous system)
