I have 4 level 70 casters (mage/lock/spriest/ele shaman) that I have raided Karazhan with every single week for 11 weeks now, that is 44 karazhan raids on just my casters, 51 if you include my hunter.
I have seen Nathrezim Mindblade a grand total of 0 times, even in my Hunters Kara. The guild as a whole with dozens of Karazhans going every week has only seen 4 of them. We even started breaking up groups to try and solely focus specific casters to get one without competition and it just isn’t dropping. Currently all of our progression ‘pumper’ mages/locks are using Blade of the Archmage from HH and at this rate we’ll be trying to compete for world first SSC/TK kills without having any P1 caster weapons.
This is why it’s so important to put these kind of items on the badge vendor, I shouldn’t have my performance in raids punished due to just bad RNG. Can you imagine raiding Karazhan 51 weeks in a row and never seeing a mindblade? It’s boggling my mind why I’ve never seen that dagger drop yet I’ve seen 5-10+ of every other weapon.
PS: Yes, I play a lot, yes, I touch grass, It’s not difficult to spend 1.5 hours x 5 times a week on a chill raid.
I’m not going as deep as you, but I have done every kara for every week on my shaman. Every. Single. Week. Even the short lockout at the start. 0 nath blades and 0 lightning caps.
Just did kara again last night. Fool’s bane and some random plate piece for Illhoof and then that god awful rogue dagger and healing ring off prince.
Meanwhile every caster on our raid team has one which (IIRC) is 3 locks, 2 mages, 2 boomies, an ele, and a shadow priest. A lot of our healers or alts have one as well.
…we also got 5 DSTs and recruited a player with one so we have 6 in total. 0 spellblades and 0 spiteblades though.
That’s kind of how this version of the game works though. To your point you’ve effectively done a YEAR’S worth of Kara and haven’t seen one personally. It sucks and all, but we can’t even blame anniversary on your bad luck in this regard.
Not gonna complain if they did a badge vendor for anni due to a sped up schedule, but I also don’t think there’s much of a merit to the argument beyond that.
We do 2 karas a week in my guild so far I’m the only one who’s gotten mindblade on a guild run. One of our eles and a destro lock both got it in a pug. I think guild runs are cursed. Also no spiteblades and our fury is getting increasingly more unhinged.

I have just as many alts, and have seen even my feral trinket off romulo more often.
Not winning a mindblade is 1 thing, not seeing 1? i am suspicious as well.
As a guy with multiple top 100 parses its not just for the parse. its for escape, almost like people go to things that distract/entertain to distract. Grapes is a 5 head genius. Put this man in charge of the nuclear programs.

I have yet to see the druid staff drop for me, and haven’t seen a spiteblade yet either. However, our guild has seen at least 5 mindblades and 2 lights Hope’s. Luck of the draw unfortunately.

Rng be rnging. In classic 2019 it took me 47 strat ud to get my shadowcraft pants. In sod p1 i had to run SFK 31 times before i saw a meteor shard. Sometimes you get really unlucky.

There is most definitely something very wrong with the loot tables in this version of TBC. We have very little variety in our Kara group. We have seen a total of three tier tokens in Kara that were not Defender pieces. Zero mindblades in our run as well. Even the heroic final bosses more often than not have been dropping gems instead of items. The loot randomization just feels very off in this version. The same way that the daily heroics were not cycling at the start of TBC and we would get the same heroic daily five days in a row.
