- Revert duration statue soothing mists back to BFA
- Buff statue healing 200% or rework our mana efficiency which also an issue in PVE
- TOD does nothing, completely impractical given how much time we spend trying to avoid CC
- Invoke Yu’lon does nothing in PVP and extremely bad in PVE, maybe it could be reworked to DR cd which gives us utility in raids too
- Fortifying Brew needs to be 1 minute cd considering we have no buttons when stunned and the squishiest all of classes with no passive DR
- Expel Harm useable while stunned and friendly targets as well
- Life Cocoon has DR component attached to it or significantly buff our HP scaling, as it currently stands Life Cocoon gets broken in a global
- Life Cocoon useable stun similar to Pain Supression
- Bring back cancelaura for roll / Chi Torpedo
MW was bad in beta and will continue to be bad until we get max renown. We have already seen the future.

- Mana costs reduced by 50% (not even joking)
The current mana costs are a result of nerfing MW back when it was strong in BfA. I remember when they nearly doubled the mana cost of both vivify and surging mist. Now, that change has lasting negative effects that should probably be reverted (or at least considered)

For those wondering, this was because of azerite traits and essences making MW never oom. Pair that with MLX comps and a slower meta and it becomes a problem. This is clearly a different game now yet they have not tuned our abilities appropriately.

I hit 1800 in 2s today and it was not fun, at all. Dying in stuns seemed to be very common. Heck, even dying through Fort Brew.
I wish Fort Brew could be usable while stunned and a lower CD (I think that’s the way it was?)
Statue healing for more than 8 seconds might help a little, but I feel like ChiJi is mandatory against melee as you are dead in seconds if they connect
I want to play MW in arena so, so bad… but it is simply awful and not enjoyable whatsoever

The biggest problem is that the amount of changes needed to just make Mistweaver an average performer in arena isn’t going to happen.
We’ll see a 5% intellect buff and Blizzard will call it a day. The state of the spec in arena is just pathetic. Combine that with the fact the the spec only played with a few other classes and it makes it even harder to find games as a solo player.
Doesn’t help that the spec is low tier to average at best at raiding/mythic+ too.
I’ve played the spec since MoP, but it’s really time to let it go.

I watched sodapoppin play today.
He went from rank 2k to 1.8k in about an hour because he played with his Mistweaver Monk friend. Hope ya’ll get some buffs.

Do you play with badge? I macroed them together (badge first, then brew) so I have 40k hp for 15seconds with 15% wall. I feel it’s the only way to make wall kind of useful, since by itself you just get bursted through

Hack, i use battlemaster and wall when the gates open to fleshcraft a 12k bubble to not die in the opener against sub teams LOL… imagine

Probably a dumb question, but why was the cancel roll macro so good? I just don’t understand what makes it so good. I’m sure there is a reason, but my brain it holding me back on know what it is.
Makes it a lot easier to land CC and run away eg cut around a pillar

My daily bump to this thread. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that not a single bit of help was thrown toward mistweavers in the patch notes today other than to make a talent function as it should after blizzard broke it… whoever represents mistweavers on the development team is late to the party and clueless. Not even a “we’re looking at mistweaver performance.” Why is this class always an after thought?

Fortunately MW is performing quite well in raid at the moment (3rd behind shamans and druids). After getting tear or morning I can personally say I’m crushing people in HPS.
PvP tuning absolutely needs to happen as we are less than useless in arena, however they will need to tune these knobs using pvp talents and buffs to abilities when we are in combat with another player, similar to how they just hit rogues.
