Missing a burst window or a damage proc because you got ccd doesn’t really seem like a problem that needs to be fixed when looked through a pvp scope

One other point I want to bring over from the Evoker Forum, that could be a very healthy and consistent change more aimed at the future (The War Within, and whole World Soul Saga) would be:
- Increasing all Evoker’s range of spells to 30 Yards. Hear me out here, this is strictly to keep consistency across the 3 Evoker specs. I must say, it feels quite awkward that Preservation has a 30 yard range, but Augmentation and Devastation have a 25 yard range. This makes spec swapping a little strange to adapt to, and it feels weird to see Preservation using Disintegrate and Living Flame at a further range than the DPS specs.
Preservation is relatively weak compared to other healers at the moment, because they have no damage mitigation / reduction CDs, and because of their shortened range, they have to be on top of their teammates vulnerable to crowd control to output healing.
I believe this 5 yard boost to 30 yard range would clean up and add consistency across the specs in the Evoker Class, and be a very positive change especially in the future like The War Within Expansion and beyond. Still shortened range to keep the class well balanced (Wizards and Hunters can kite us easily still), and it’s not like the 30 yard range is breaking the game for Preservation (It’s currently one of the weaker performing healers in PvP).
They were definitely very strong last season, but still not to the standards of Rogues, Balance and Resto Druids, and Elemental Shaman. Atleast 2 of those were a REQUIREMENT on your roster in order to make the quarter finals even for the AWC.
Aug is more balanced now and I’m happy with that, hence of the emphasis of quality of life changes to improve and clean up the Augmentation rotation, and not just straight increase the damage of this ability by X% because representation low.
