I’d recommend warrior. Getting a group as a Hunter is really rough and warriors just do a lot more dmg.

play tank, 60 is a huge bottleneck on tanks, everyone is looking for them. For hours.
You will thrive as a hunter. Plenty of online guides, tips and tricks to help you be the best.
Don’t worry about dungeons. Everyone wants mages, but if you make your own groups you should be able to do any dungeon any day of the week. It’s worked for me. join /LookingForGroup and advertise the following outline: LFM ZF XP FARM. People of all roles and levels will want to join your group regardless of your role, or the fact that you don’t even have a group yet.
Solo questing will be a breeze and you can even solo orange elites by kiting and utilizing your pet.
In PvP you will feel like a god. Keeping enemies at range, flare, traps, stuns, slows, and more. Bonus: if you roll a night elf you will dominate in WSG and AB as you have Shadowmeld to defend FC / defend stables solo, giving your team more bodies for offense.
I had a level 60 in Vanilla and let me tell you it was fun. GL
This. Just go Hunter. Unless you have a guild that you can run with.
Warriors are cool. I like Arms, myself. But yeah, if you’re asking, I’d say go Hunter. You’ll have a lot more control over you’re situation in the game. You can grind it easy, or spice it up and use everything at your disposal to navigate a chaos you’ve manifested.

You’re in luck. DPS warriors are also tanks.
The problem in dungs is, the tank warrior will not want a dps warrior who will roll on all the items they need. I wont typically take another warrior in my group. I mean i already have some competition with rogues and hunters dont need even more.
Hunter for sure! They are great solo class, you have your pet to keep you company, and great for grinding/gold.

I rather enjoy tanking and dpsing, so leveling up hasn’t been an issue for me.
But I will say I’m less thrilled to tank for a group that had a dps Warrior in it if that dungeon happens to have something I really really want. 90% of the dungeon loot will get replaced in a few levels by a green, but every now and then I just really want that weapon upgrade hehe.
And on my server, hunters seem to be especially rare. I get a lot of dps Warriors in groups, but it’s not often I see a Hunter.

That’s entirely dependent on the person. Warriors are my favorite DPS class to bring into a dungeon.
Oops posted on wrong character. I appreciate the input. I am leaning towards Hunter as I know gearing a Warrior will be pretty involved, and the reality is I probably just won’t have the time to really commit to getting decked out in purples.
It seems like a hunter in a mix of blues and purples would be more effective than a warrior of similar gear.
haha, dead on. It’s gotten to the point I don’t bother joining groups cause they’ll inevitably ask me to tank.
