Just wait until you get intercept, then warbringer yourself over the 42 yards using assorted critters while chugging potions and popping shield wall, then killing the druid if he doesn’t run away. it’s basic logic

All of the other casters dramatically outperform balance and it will only get worse as the phases progress.
I don’t PvP, and I’m feral. I’ll be fine.
Feral isn’t going to transition well moving forward either. Rogue, warrior and prob Pally are going to eclipse your DPS.
I’m used to it. I’m still WF, 3% crit, mangle buff, and faerie fire since the other druids can’t be bothered. I’ll cat some stuff, I’ll OT some stuff, and I’ll teabag the MT when he dies. Some things never change.
Having a feral in the melee group is like having another world buff. These melee are gonna be so simping so hard for a cat in their party.
I’m talking about PVP, where they do not dramatically outperform druids.
I could care less if druids get PVE buffs, hand them out like candy as long as living breathing humans can have a semi fair fight.
Guy above you is pretending that a warlock, mage, priest, shaman, warrior, paladin, and some say hunter won’t just die to spam while slowly gaining on a druid.
So druids will be faster at running away AND running you down? Fine they did that before but it was moonfire and swarm only, not a nuke that does 240 dmg when fireball does 140.
When you are defending an instant cast fireball on a 6 second cd you might be doing something wrong.
You’ll only be happy when druids are a free kill in pvp again.

Druid is quite literally not even on the same plane as Lock, mage and spriest in PvP.

the spell is 40+ dps by itself, in 10 seconds that one spell effectively cuts down 400 hp on a target… This is literally wind serpent all over again with 4 times the range lol.
Many classes having literally no recourse to this in open world and only slightly more in wsg is your idea of “not being a free HK”.
Duels are a bad metric, you can get good abstract data from them, but the answer is usually more obscure than (give them Pom pyro on a 6 second cd and call it a day)
Just give mages arcane barrage equivalent or buff the usability of ice lance atm and I will happily join you since you aren’t interested in coming down off the pedestal.
I really dislike living flame being the anti-trogg spell that it is, and arcane surge doing slightly more than starsurge in damage but having a 2 minute cd and hitting for 100 dmg if you dont spend 2300 mana.
So yeah im gonna crab on some druids and pull them back into the bucket if they don’t take me with them. (this is an obvious joke for the aspies)
It only gets worse as group pvp enters the equation. Druid is the least viable, on kit alone, pvp class in the game.
A druid has to do 3-5x the work of all other classes to be relevant.
I can concede all of that and it still doesn’t make the 180% buff reasonable.
What if we remove all mage runes, quadruple the damage of frostbolt and make it instant cast on a 3 second cd.
I mean at that point mages would NEED it, and if you NEED it, Obama has to give it to you.
Mage is going to be globaling people starting in P2. Druid wont.
The mage kit is infinitely stronger than Druid.
