Stacking Stats

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a great day.

So super noob question, even though I’ve been playing since late vanilla (yikes!), but people talk about stacking stats like haste for BDK.

Question is, how do I do that? Doesn’t gear just drop given stats? How do I intentionally stack things like haste?
