SSC Elevator disconnect loop / Anti-cheat false positive on Mac Metal client (Patch 2.5.6.68502)

Hello,

I am writing to report a critical issue encountered in WoW TBC Classic / Progression servers since the deployment of Patch 2.5.6.68502. The main elevators in Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC) are completely broken for players on macOS using the Metal Graphics API.

Characters Name: Suruba, Giria
Realm: Nightslayer

1. Enter the Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC) raid instance on a macOS client using the Metal Graphics API (specifically on an iMac Late 2015).
2. Wait for the main entrance elevator platform to stop.
3. Step onto the circular metallic elevator platform with 100% of addons disabled.
4. Attempt to move using 'W', 'S', or turn the character/camera while the platform is stationary or in motion.

The character should remain firmly on the platform and move seamlessly along the vertical axis as the elevator changes height.
The game instantly disconnects the player back to the character selection screen. It creates an endless disconnect loop due to a false positive in the server's anti-cheat positioning system. The only way to escape the loop or pass the elevator is waiting 10 minutes out of the game for a soft reset, using the web unstuck service or warlock summon

Please look into the vertical axis positioning and texture collision metrics for the Mac Metal client on these moving platforms.

Thank you.

As of last night, the disconnect has been starting the second you try to step onto the platform (with all addons disabled). Seeing this on a Macbook 2019.

Still an issue. I have to be summoned into SSC or Mechanar. There is no fix or workaround.

Happening for me in SSC and Battle of Dazar’alor. Tried disabling add-ons, clearing cache, lowering resolution. Have a mac.

I have a MAC and just reporting the same issue - attempting to go onto an elevator in both ICC and SSC results in being instantly disconnected. I had this happen yesterday in ICC where I just gave up and now again in SSC which I attempted today.
