Then why are you asking for 100% SR when you know it’s not realistic?
There is a lot of time involved in running a guild. The people doing it are going to want to be rewarded for having to herd 40 cats.
You showing up to raid on time doesn’t mean you get the best items when the leaders are doing all the work and you are just showing up to raid.
Try running a guild and report back on how easy it is. It is like a 2nd job.
I don’t think reserving a few of the best items is a problem. If you don’t like it, run your own guild.
Guild leaders reserve items in every loot system that there is. This isn’t special to SR guilds lil guy.
Again I said I agree a few items prio is acceptable just hasn’t been my experience the few SR guilds/runs I’ve been in. And I didn’t say I want 100% SR, just said the guilds I’ve been in weren’t that, they were more of a LC with SR because of the previously mentioned loot going to officers first. Hence why I said personally I like epgp/DKP more beacause you earn points then you spend them.
I was in a EPGP guild. They still reserve items in EPGP guilds.
Reserving items for GM or raid leads is not special to SR systems. I was also in one of the best guilds that has probably ever existed in WOW.

True there is never 100% fair loot rules, or 100% going to make everyone in the raid happy. I just stated my experience with SR. People on the internet are gonna do people on the internet stuff. Best to try and find a guild that works for the most part and work with it. I was also in high performing guilds. Many people have been and prob all used dif loot rules, that all had pros and cons

It seems we are running in circles, I stated my experience and you seem to want to be, no its not that way its this way because I say so. Let’s agree to disagree and people just need to find a guild that works for them
There is nothing wrong with SR it’s like the best system there is for including PUGs.
I like EPGP personally but it’s hard to work it with PUGs and setup is very complicated.
If you think there is something wrong with SRs you are wrong.
They will NEVER be satisfied. Ban this, ban that.
It was gdkp.
Now it’s SR.
Then it will be ban professions or limit them further.
Then you will be banned from winning more than 1 item per week.
Then they will want to ban the AH.
Then gold gets removed.
Then, all spells and abilities are changed to do the exact same damage, so everyone is equal. Classes are removed from the game.
These people should never be listened to. It will never stop until it is only them standing on the rotting corpse of a game everyone used to love. And then they will move onto the next version of wow and attempt to ruin it too.
I HATE sr. But im not dumb enough to try to get it removed from the game. Player choice and the ability to create things like SR are part of what make the game great.

SR is my favorite loot system for pugs if there isn’t anything thats reserved/can’t be SR’d. For guilds I like epgp/DKP.
Of course you hate SR they don’t take Visa.

I have seen people bail from SR runs when their item doesn’t drop. However, if the run is a good one it is much less likely to happen as people want to be able to go to them weekly and not get black listed. This is all from an Era standpoint because that’s were most of my time played is.

Yeah, but my dislike of SR isn’t the point. Smallbrains over there saw my post and picked out the most irrelevant thing. SR should not be banned.
Hey don’t talk about him like that. He is all knowing and played in one of the best guilds in WoWs history all as a level 12 Lock. You take what he says as law and be happy about it.

I hope I can do SR or epgp/DKP. But knowing blizz it’s gonna be retail personal loot.
I hope not, I would prefer not being tempted to stack one armor type for the entire raid to run splits and pass loot to mains. LC works fine.
Would like gdkps, but I can play either way. I always made more gold than I spent on upgrades through wise bidding and lots of alts.
But but but if you go to GDKPs that means you swipe and are breaking TOS. There is zero players in GDKPs that don’t swipe.
